saving video from youtube

Guys, can you help me? I want to save some clippings from youtube and use it in my presentation. How do I do it? thanks a lot.

The file formats used on Youtube are special formats so they can't be saved like usual video files. After having watched the video, you'll have to go to the browser's cache. If you use Internet explorer then go like this Tools Internet Options Settings View Files. Out of the entire cache look for the site name. Spot for a file from Youtube with big enough size and copy paste it on some other location. If you're using Firefox, its slightly complicated. Type "about:cache" in the address bar of Firefox, and press enter. It will show you the status of Memory Cache Device and Disk Cache device. Go to both one by one and look for a big file from Youtube. Once you've spotted it, save it elsewhere. Now to play the file a FLV player software is required. Riva FLV encoder is one. Jemina, if you want a software for this, i have one! its a simple program that uses the link or url of the video in youtube and it can be save as avi, mpeg or for psp i think! just search YouTube.Video.Downloader.2007-GameRevolution @ phazeddl.com i guess those people who wants to download from youtube can be helped by this response! give me comments! thanks!

I'm sorry, I don't know a way to save videos from youtube. I want to save some videos to, but I couldn't figure out the way to do so...

as far as i kow, you cannot upload videos from youtube. maybe you can use it as powerpoint by brining your laptop and a little white screen in your presentation...

Oh, well, I thought so too but last time I saw my classmate showed us a video clips and he said it's from youtube that's why I asked it here. You can read te replies and you will be surprised.

Had to give response to your discussion friend but sorry to say that I haven't got any idea how to save some clippings from youtube and use it in any presentation. Will try to learn this too.regards friend Sam.

Just get a software like Flashget or Bitcomet that can download flash-videos. You can get both of these software from Download.com for FREE.

sorrt i cant tell about it bcoz i didnt use youtube anytime so i cant tell u much about it but i can tell u to download through any tool that much i can suggest u thats alll bye

well...for your info,youtube's video cant be downloaded.. or u can go ARES or somewhere or limewire to download it.. but faw download from page youtube..i dun thnk u can.. i am a youtuber..wana to see my video ? juz go ther and search 'honchung' worth watching!
