Is 100% honesty in relationship possible

well..some time ago i felt that if u r in a serious relationship ,u shouldn't hide anything from the person u love..thats what i did with my friend whom i considered to b the most important in my life...but he ditched me for all the negative points which i had disclosed to b honest to him n the relationship!! was i wrong or my approach wrong

in my own opinion, 100% honesty in a relationship is not possible...we have white lies remember... but still it is a lie and still a sign of dishonesty... :-(
