Daughter and you

I'm often told I look like my mother, though others say we look nothing like each-other, so I often wonder if they just say it because it's something people always say to mothers and daughters. I know I share her temper, not sure we look alike though!

I haven't beent old my kids look like me. they are getting more like me but when they were born they both looked like their dad. I have been told they are like me though. My eldest is bossy like I am and they are both independent like me and don't like to be helped. I'm not sure I feel good when these not so great character traits are pointed out. I feel best when I am complemented on them as I know it is because of all my hard work.

Thats an amzing thing to hear. My little girl is 5 months and I found pictures of me when I was a baby and she does look like me, she has my eyes and I guess she's a super happy baby like I was. I see her father though too, she has his ears and nose and her face is more squared out where mine was thinner. Its the best thing in the world to have a little you! Enjoy every minute with her.
