I would usually drink hot lemon juice or for immediate effect, I would heat some lemon and when they're really hot, I would squeeze them on a spoon then put a little salt and viola! after taking 3 or 4, my tickly throat is gone.

When I was nursery nurse I got laryngitis which causes a tickily cough and the doctor said the coughing is caused by the air being dry because of the heating so open a window, it really works as well so try that.

Believe it or not, coke classic will help you get rid of that tickle.Coke has the ability to cut through most things bothering the throat. It actually helps clear phlem and help clean everything out.I believe it still falls into the catagory of being vegan-friendly.Hope it works for you as well it has in the past for me.

Well, the tickle in the back of the throat is usually caused by excess flem left behind because of the cold. I would suggest that the next time you brush your teeth, just brush the back of your tongue(don't overdo it as you could gag), and then try to spit out as much of the flem as you can. I know it sounds disgusting but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. Then gargle, preferably with warm water, and spit it out again, keep doing as much as you need to or can. It will really relief your throat. And actually if you practice this everyday while you brush your teeth, you actually won't get colds that often and even if you do they won't be as severe and you'll have only the mild symptoms, no runny noses, no stuffed noses, no aching throat, no discomfort. The reason being that all cold viruses thrive at the back of the throat and that's why the first symptom is always an achy throat. Another good way is to gargle with a mixture of warm water and honey(hope you can have honey), but the tooth brush method is very easy and basic and you can do it any time you brush your teeth. So give it a try.

Best thing I have found for a tikly throat is ginger tea..I swear by it..Either you can get a ready made one or you can grate fresh ginger root and add it to hot water and just guzzle it down. It is excellent ..Just repeat the process every few hours and you will see in a day or so you will be as right as rain! I hope this helps..

Try gargling with hot salt water or mouth wash like listerine. (Sorry but I am not sure if either of these go agains being a vegan.)

My mom swears by maple syrup or molasses mixed with lemon. You will need to warm this up. It will coat your throat so it doesn't tickle.
