You work hard in one month and you think that you deserve to get payment at the end of the month. All updates are made at the enf of the month and look you have just 9.99$ and mylot says you we don't pay you this month since it is under your minimum payout. What do you feel? What would be your first reaction?Do you get a little bit bored or think to leave mylot?

I wouldn't worry about it at all as I would know that next month I would have an even bigger payout then I would have and it would be in a way like saving some of the money that I made and then I would have a bigger amount to get something that I wanted or would have more to pay off a bill that I have .

I know how frustrated it can be when you are this close to recieve payment from myLot, and eventualy they just can't pay you. It realy sucks! But you must understand myLot staff, the rule says that any member who reached to minimum payout which is 10$, deserve to recieve payment. If you reached 9.99$, it's not minimum payout, and you can't recieve payment although it sucks. Just look on the bright side - On the next month, you will recieve a bigger payment.

I really wouldn't worry about it because I know I'll make payout the month after anyway lol. I've only had one payout so far because I joined last month just 2 weeks before payout. I managed to make payout comfortably then, and this month I feel I've done very well for myself.
I wouldn't leave Mylot because I didn't make payout. With the diversity of people and the range of topics, how could I ever get bored?
I'm having a lot of fun and learning new things every single day. Mylot is one of the best things I ever joined.

I'm a newbie so I can't really give an informed opinion. It would seem to me, however, that this would just make you want to work harder. At least you know you're getting somewhere. If I wasn't doing this I would probably just be in some game room.

I usually find that I can expect payment each month, although last month this did happen to me. I would normally visit Mylot on a daily basis and respond to several discussions, but I was very busy last month and did not spend very much time here for a couple of weeks. When 28th February arrived I had earned $9.64.
It is a little disappointing to fail to qualify for a monthly payout, but I shall receieve payment in the coming month so at least I have lost nothing.

I would scream out loud, I think. I've been there. No, I would just keep posting. While I was trying to make the minimum payout, I would be posting like crazy. But, if I didn't make it, I would just relax and post for fun knowing I would get paid next time.

I wouldn't mind. I know the regulations anyway so if I didn't make the minimum payout, then I guess it's my fault for not posting as much as I should. I would probably just think that I should have done better and I'd start doing better the next time around so I could reach the minimum payout the next month.

I think if I earnt that I would be even more determined to stay on the site the next month and make sure that I got the money that was owed to me. I wouldn't want to do all that work and then leave and not get rewarded for it.

What? For being one cent short of reaching payout by the cutoff date? I think that would only encourage me to answer one or two (dozen) more discussions each month personally, lol. Just think of how much your first payout should be after two months instead of one. :)

I don't think I would really bother. The money will come that's for sure. Getting paid on mylot is just a bonus. I didnt' join mylot just for the money. I joined because I was interested in people's opinions. Getting paid is just a wow factor. If I was that desperate for money, I would be working somewhere getting paid more by the hour.

Hello umitcicek
I will very disappointed and sad. I always try to make a good discussion and respond. But sometimes my earning didn't make me satisfied.
I can imagine what will happen if I in that situtaion.
1 cent and myLot will not paid me. And wait for a month to get my payment.
God bless you

Well you have to check that you do have the right amount at the end of the month you can easily do this by keeping an eye on your earnings and it would not hurt to do a couple more responses to other people discussions so that you would have the right amount there and be paid on time. No I have always been paid by mylot apart from the first month as it was near the end of the month and I only had $2.00 in my account.

Why would I want to leave mylot for that reason?
I read the rules: it says what the payout can be and even gives me a chance which is very nice.
If I don't make the minimum I cannot expect to be paid this month, in which case I will wait for next month when payout will be even nicer because of the two month combination:)
There is no reason to expect an exception, the rules are simple and clear.
Maybe I would be thinking to myself "Darn, just for one lousy cent!!!" but I really couldn't complain.
I think if I saw that I was that close, I might try to make an effort to just try and make payout, even just by posting an image if I could be paid for it already, or just post a few more responses to see if I could get that extra cent.

Well, you didn't make the cut. If they let you get your $9.99 then someone with $9.98 would say well I should get mine too, it's only a two cents difference. Then the people with $9.97 would want the same thing. It would never end. It's just best to have a set rule and not break it. You'll still get it next month. Hopefully you weren't counting on it.
Besides at least you do get paid. I mean, i've been posting at IMBD for months not know that I could be getting money for my posts. So I really can't complain. It's pretty awesome.

I am fairly new to Mylot myself, less than a week here. But I am already up to over $5.00! I did come here for the money but now I stay because I just love to chat on this site.I feel bad for you that you didn't reach the minimum payout for this month but just think about next month! You will have 2 months worth!
As for getting bored. I don't think I could. There are always new people joining with new questions or opinions. There is always something different. I was on here the other day for 8 hours. ( the whole time I was at work) I found that after a few hours I couldn't really find any posts to write on and I had started all of the threads I could think of, that were any good. I logged off and didn't log back in for a whole day. When I came back on there were a lot of new posts and threads for me to visit! Try staying off of this web site for a few days. When you come back there shuold be lots for you to say!
