I would become vegan if it would solve world hunger. Good thing it isn't going to happen.
Also what would we do with all of the cattle if we did not eat them? I guess leather would be in that year.

I would make whatever sacrifice I could to end world hunger.I am a meat-and-potatoes man but would give up the meat part if it would allow others to eat. Many people would IF the results were immediate.

I can't really say that I became a vegan to end world hunger. I mean, I could see how that would work if enough people did it. But I didn't feel like I personally made much impact there. I'm sure as much meat as I would have eaten, is thrown away daily anyway (and then some). But maybe as people eat less and less meat, finally we'll see an impact with less land and resources going to the production animals.

I for sure wouldn't mind being vegan, I do eat meat but in a very low portion compared to most people in the family. If not because of my husband, our grocery would contain sausages and soups :) no steak, no roast beef, no ham.. nothing bulk. In winter it's useful to eat "heavier" stuffs, so maybe that's when I would need to know if vegan meals can provide what the body needs in winter

If becoming vegan would truly help to end world hunger ,then I would have no problem making the transition.I like non-veg ,but it's not something that I am obsessed with.

I know that eating less meat is more environmentally friendly and kind to the earth and all the people on it.However I simply can not be a vegetarian or a vegan,I have tried to become a vegetarian and my body just didn't deal with it well.I was sick and didn't have enough energy to get out of bed. I think being a vegan would be even worse for me. I need to be a carnivorous just to survive well.To compensate for this and the damage I know I am doing by eating as much meat as I do I opted to eat only organic meats.I figured that this is a good compromise.

I am vegan to help others. But the others in my case are the animals I save by not eating them.
Ending world hunger is a nice side benefit. But no I'm not vegan to help people.
Guess I'm one of those who prefer animals to people. Not all people, but most people.

guess we both share this one same interest yes i love being a vegan and i could go to any extent to help people around me and for my friends and family i can also take that extra step where in even if i have to sacrifice a few things in my life i will and would not hesitate one bit. But i also tread carefully cos in todays world people use this for their own miserable deeds so yes i do my enquiries and once i am satisfied then there is not stoping me yes i have my limitations as you know india is a growing economy and me being an indian i have some constraints financially but if services are required i will be the first one to help and sign up i have been in some of the worst places when the Tsunami struck the indian coast and seen such devastation that i cannot describe so yes i will be there to help always and maybe GOD will look at these deeds and give a cottage in heaven right next to those lovely beautiful and sexy female angels LOL

I would gladly go vegan if I thought it would actually do some miraculous thing like that! It's always nice to play "what if"...
I'm working on becoming vegan now. I knew it would be hard. I know some people who could do it instantly and it leave me baffled. I'm giving myself a year , year and half transition time. But yes, if it would do that..yes! I certainly would!
