In one of my posts entitled MyLot:MyRomance; one response thought I was in quest for love in MyLot...(hahaha!) Though I am not closing my doors I am not looking. This led me to this discussion...
Is being single a freedom for one to enjoy everything that there is possibly available like going out nightly, being carefree and nobody to please, flirt with anyone and the works?
Or are these perks are merely decorations on a very sad fact that one lives alone and sad life?
Make yourselves heard, your opinion matters...

I think it can work in both ways. Being single gives you the freedom to go out when you want to and do whatever you choose but sometimes it can also be very lonely if you do not have someone to hang out with. However if you are single, it is sometimes hard to to get involved in being with others because alot of people are in relationships. That could lead to alot of loneliness for yourself.

I think it depends on the person. For me I don't like being single, I much prefer to be in a relationship. It makes me feel more secure and I don't really like dating. It is good when you are with someone who is interesting and fun, but having to go out with all the dull guys and all the dates you want to get out of doesn't make it worth it.

Both singles and persons in a relationship will not claim to a life of bliss. It is all the same and it depends to who you are talking to. I am single and I admit that loneliness creeps in once in a while but I am happy too. Happy because I do not answer to anyone whatever decision I make, free wherever I please to go and whatever I want to do. Being single is accepting the fact that you are going in your life's journey alone. Acceptance is bliss in itself.
