A lot of people choose to limit their food intake for reasons such as health, morality and others. Some people eliminate their food intake from animal sources to varying degrees. Dieting is a common life changing step especially now that everyone is slowly becoming health conscious. Increasing your vegetable intake is one step in your way to weight loss. Not only are they healthy filled with vitamins and minerals but they are low on calories which is very important in weight loss. Caloric intake should not be more than what you burn. That is the key to losing weight. Changing your diet is one step but the next step is harder and that is excersicing. Exercise increases body metabolism which in turn increases burning of calories. The amount of exercise that should be done depends on an individuals endurance and weight. A good 20-30 minute exercise is enough for a day for beginners. Remember, a healthy diet and exercise in combination will give you the best possible results.

my favorite vegetable salad consist of lettuce , cucumber , tomato cubes , olives , mushrooms , pineapple , ham , croutons , light ranch dressing and bacon bits and mandarin orange.
sometimes a macaroni salad with chicken strips , raisins , white onions , cheese cubes , beets and little drained fruit cocktail , light mayonnaise with honey or caro syrup.
potato salad is one of my favorite choice also : cubed potatoes , carrots , green peas , white onions , mayonnaise , dijon mustard , pepper , and salt then little toppings of parmesan or grated american cheese and bacon bits.
