I think it can, depending on the couple. A lot of younger people have girlfriends/boyfriends online, but they've never met. They just speak online frequently. Personally, I don't consider that a valid relationship. How can you be dating someone you've never met? People's online personalities are usually very different from how they act in person.
If someone uses the internet to find a significant other, speak with for a while, and then meet in person, I consider that valid. Because you aren't using the internet to date the person, you're using it as a resource to find people you're compatible with.
I hope that makes sense.

Yes I have done it, so I know it is possible. My sister also met her husband online and they have been together for 6 years.

I met my hubby from internet :)
So... I think soulmate can be found in anywhere place, including in the internet, because this is the most popular way to communicate to people and make some friends.

Sure can :) I have met some wonderful people over the net (Including my partner and mty best friend!) I have had some bad expieriences but the majority of the time I have been successful! If you aren't afraid to try something new, go for it! It is an experience you can learn from and even meet some really interesting people!!!

Yes it is possible and infact it is really useful for many people who's actually seeking for their lover forever.
My best friend, some of my friends and my sister now have finally found their partners, and they just met through the internet and they are happy with their partners and very contented.
Cheers and have a nice day ahead from Francis.
