Ok, Im a Christian and I do believe that Jesus is God. But recently I came across a saved, born again Christian that loves Jesus with all his heart, but can't wrap his head around that Jesus is God because of various scriptures that say that Jesus is God but then there are scriptures where Jesus Himself is seperating Himself from God. It's a hard thing for me to explain so I was hoping that maybe some of you could help me explain to this man how Jesus is God...Thanks for the help!

I am not a christian. But I believe that Jesus is a God. Who is god? So many people who lived on this earth have attained the status of God. They still live and shower their blessings on humanity.

I don't think so. There is only one God!

Jesus is God. God consists of three persons, the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. Therefore Jesus, being the Son is part of the Trinity. Each part of the Trinity has its separate function, The Father the Head, the Son, whom we ask for forgiveness for our sins, and the Holy Spirit that moves in Christians to get them to do HIS will, and gets them to discern between what to give up for Christ and what decisions to make, etc.

Hi,
In genesus God speaks about we are making. He's talking about the three.Father holy spirit and son.
So God =Jesus and the holy spirit. He just separated himself into Jesus and suffered for us he came down as a human to suffer in the way we also suffer. That is what i know about it.Hope it is of help
