Have you ever worn pants with a hole in them? And not known for how long?

So this afternoon while at home playing with my son, I felt a breeze. I looked down, and sure enough, there was a rip in the seam, right in the crotch of my pants. I keep thinking now about whether or not they were like this today when I wore them to work. Or the day before? How long could this hole have been there without my knowing it? Surely someone would have told me if they saw it, but what if they were too embaressed to say anything? What if I didn't wear underwear some day since the hole was there? Have you ever had this happen to you?

Thankfully no! It would be so very embarrassing! :P The worse I had was holes in socks - probably done by the devious washing machine or dryers. Sometimes when I take off my shoes when I visit a friend's home, it's embarrassing if I discovered those holes. Good thing I always discover them and remedy it before others see. At least I think so.

I have worn pants with holes in them before and I will not know that there is a whole in them until someone points it out to me.

Yeah I actually had a hole in the butt of my pants. Of course no one said anything they just liked looking. My son then told me eventually that he saw my butt! Lovely! I would tell someone if i saw that. I wouldn't want someone to be embarassed walking around like that all day!

I wore some pants to work one day. I thought I had saw a hole when I went to use the bathroom, but thought it was just my imagination. Later, when I got home, I found a big hole right in the back. I had worn them to work like that all day! But, you wouldn't have seen it unless I really bent all the way over. Problem is, I have to bend over a lot for my job because I am putting away books.

Awww! Let's just hope no one was looking! And if they were, at least you know someone is interesting in looking at your butt. =p

I actually one day worse red biker shorts under my jeans and I did not realize that the jeans had a hole in the back pocket and inside thigh. At school I was teased for class mates thought I was wearing red boxers.

I had a hole in the butt of my favorite jeans for a period of time and didn't know it. I had lost 30 pounds and they were the only pair of jeans that fit me well, but I guess the damage had already been done. And, at the risk of revealing too much information, I'm not an underwear sort of girl. I do wonder how many people noticed. I live in a smallish town. I can't help but think that I was the talk of it.

The only other embarrassing thing I've done, clothes wise, is got my skirt caught in my panty hose at work. Did I mention I'm not an Underwear kind of girl? LOL

Erm...excuse me but you have a hole in your...you know...yes Not as easy to say as you might think. As for having a hole in my trousers, yes i did once for ages before i realised but luckily it was at the bottom and only visible if you were directly below me, If you were it meant i just walked over you and im sure you were more worried about your face than my trousers ;)

"If you were it meant i just walked over you and im sure you were more worried about your face than my trousers" That's hilarious! =p Personally I was more worried as to whether this hole was visible when I sat down that when I was standing up. Standing up it obviously wouldn't be, except in the situation you just mentioned. =p

LMAO I would have felt the breeze and said Ahhhhh that feels good :))) Its not often that part of my body gets to feel natural outside sunshine air! LMAO no never my pants but I have found holes under my arms, and felt embarrassment having gone through the day and wondering how long it had been there. Had I put it on in the AM and to tired to realize I had a hole. Shesh it had to be a day that I had not even shaved my arm pits since it was winter, You know winter growth right?

I have not but my husband has many times before. I do not know why or how he keeps ripping his pants there.. I wonder ? Once I was suppost to meet him out at a little shoping mall . We were going to shop and get something to eat. Well I got there he got out of his truck bend over to change from his work boots to his tennis shoes. There was his whole works . He and I both are bad to not wear underwear. We just do not like too. He has statred now. I asked him howlong have your pants been ripped. He said they must have just ripped.. So we came home. the next day at work he was telling his co workers about it. They told him that they seen that his pants was ripped around 12;00 that day... no one ever told him..

Haha, I have the underwear problem too. Most of time these days I do wear them, because my hubby picks on me about it. But if I'm just not feeling like it I sometimes won't. Now that I think about this situation, maybe they do have a purpose after all! "They told him that they seen that his pants was ripped around 12;00 that day... no one ever told him.. " How horrible! It might be a little embaressing, but if I saw one of my coworkers in a situation like that, I would definitely let them know!

If you were at home when it happened you were lucky. I was at a dance club when my pants split clear up the back. Since I'm a barely there kind of underwear person, let's just say it was embar@ssing long enough for me to grab someone's shirt, tie it around my waist and go back dancing.

*laughs* I'm pretty impressed that you just tied a shirt around your waist and kept dancing! A lot of people would have run for the door.

I probably would have ran for the door if I didn't know almost everyone there and the fact I had had a few drinks.

I was wearing my favorite pants to work few years ago. I didnt realize I had gotten a hole inbetween my legs high up. Bad area. I saw it half way through work and by then I was stuck at work with them. I thought NONE can see that far up right? No! This girl I was working with goes "is there a hole in your pants??" I didnt say yes or no. I just let it be. Then I had to replace the pants. Ugh what timing!

LOL that happened to me before. I have no idea how come I didn't notice it , but I didn't and went straight to work like that!!!!! Fortunately I was able to figure it out early in the morning and although there wasn't much I could do about it it allowed me to be very careful that day hehe Now I always check really well, just in case:)

yup!yup! i was wearing these pants to work, then i was on the phone, my guy officemate was signaling something to me but i ignored him and concentrated on the phone. then my lady officemate said "he's saying your pants are ripped". i looked down at my side, near the pockets, there it is.. about 3 inches long. the seam have just popped out. pretty embarrasing a guy had to notice that first. but i was wondering if it was already ripped when i was commuting to work, nobody just cared to tell me..

I was at work one time. I worked as a waitress and had to wear black slacks with a full apron. I had been at work almost 5 hours when one of the customers told me that my pants were ripped in the back. Now the thing that really got me was that I didn't know just how long they had been ripped surely I didn't put them on that way. I did remember one of the guys in the back looking at me kind of funny. I just had to hope that it hadn't been long that it had happened. I guess the one good thing about it I was able to go home a few hours early hehe

well i havent worn one outside with a hole in it, but sometimes at home i catch myself with a torn pant, or a shirt, that i didnt notice before, the best embrassment was when i wore a torn shirt outside to my pop's petro, its was a fancily designed shirt and it was a flimsy material, the sitch had come off at a place beneath my arms, I didn't notice it, and whenever my pop commented on the flimsyness of the shirt i used tosay it was for fashion.he was the one who noticed the tear, he asked me......is that a style too? i didn't know what to say.......LOL
