but don't get me wrong there is a reason for it. Sitting in the bath amonst all the dirt that you have washed off yourself and all that scummy water splashing about on your privates YUK
The reason I am cleaner is the shower is a wonderfull cleaning machine as all the sweat and dirt goes straight down the plughole to be recycled on its way to the sewage plants.lol
Have a nice day from Deeeky.

I am a 100 percent shower gal, I hate baths, all that yuck water just grosses me out. Besides, if I take a bath all that hot water makes me woozy and I would be afraid of falling asleep and drowning. I haven't taken a bath in years either, I feel much cleaner taking a shower.

Well i think, i would not depend on that kind of machine though it really clean myself up.
I still prefer to clean myself with myself and i love taking a bath like 2x a day.
Have a nice day ahead from Francis.

Hehe I'll take a bath but not to get clean. For me a bath it meant for relaxing in. To soak or soothe my body. Then once I'm done and all pruney I'll take a quick shower to get clean. I agree I can't feel clean after just a bath. It just doesn't seem to work that way with me.

Same as I am.
But I do love a good hot oil or bubble bath.
I shower then wash the stall out after.
Then the hot oil/bubble bath is in order.
Thanks for the info. Hahahahaha!
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I like to take a bath to relax, but then I shower off for the same exact reason. The scummy soap water laying on my skin does not give me a feeling of being clean after a bath.

I prefer a good old soak in the bath, and mine is so full of oils and cremes, and I spend soooooooo long in there, that I just smell nice when I get out, and I'm certainly clean.
I don't have a shower... it's a bit difficult to fit one in my bathroom so if I want to use one it has to be run off the taps, which is not very successful at the best of times. Maybe you should add a little of the cleansing salt to your bath, or some tea tree oil. :-) I guarantee that will leave your private parts and every other part clean! lol.
I've never noticed that my water was that dirty, and certainly not scummy! Ha ha ha.
Brightest Blessings my dear friend.

I used to prefer a bath. Since I never got very dirty, and always added nice things to the bath water, I was never aware of dirt or scum in the water.
After I had a 13cm diameter 4cm deep divot cut out of my leg I found it difficult to get in and out of a bath, so I started showering. Now I much prefer a shower and if I couldn't have a shower and had to resort to a bath, I would feel rather upset about it.
In the hot, humid weather here in Queensland I might have a few cold showers a day in the really steamy weather. It is quick and refreshing. A bath would not be the same.

Well I love the shower too but sometimes I take a bath in pools. I guess you are right by saying that bath tubs may still be dirty because the water does not flow down. I have the same concept too when it comes to bathing. Anyway, what is more important is that to make sure you are taking a bath to clean yourself.

When I first read this, I thought, oh my another nut case that needs the advise of a psychiatrist. I laughed after I read it though. I prefer to take a shower also for the cleanliness of it. I do take baths once in a blue moon for sore achy muscles and such. I will usually just soak in the tub, but for the most part, I love my shower and have been known to spend an entire hour in it.

Ew for 10 seconds there when I read your headline I thought yuk! Then realised you were on about having showers all the time instead. I must agree with you there I only have a bath about two or three times a year, mainly because of back problems I have difficulty pulling myself out of a bath. Phew thank crunchie you mentioned you had showers instead lol!

I like showers much better also. I like to get in and get out and go about my day. I think a shower is much quicker. If I was going to soak in a tub, it would probably be because my back is bothering me again and the warm water might help.
