Actually drinking a regular coke would be more harmful for me and for all the rest of the diabetics out there. As long as you don't intake aspertane in large amounts, then you are not doing harm - just like intaking to much of anything. A diet coke here and there isn't going to kill me faster then you drinking your calorie, sugar filled Coca Cola will.

I like to drink coke, pepsi and many more carbonated drinks. It is high in sugar..very high. So my friends suggested me to change to diet coke. Yeah... then i change to the diet coke. The taste is not as good.. and later i found out from one of the site on the net about the effects of aspartame. Huh... sweet things always poison you from the inside, right!?
So i decided to change the habits. No carbonated drinks anymore. After all, they are all bad to the health.. with sugar or with aspartame...or with whatever they call.

Well sugar is not exactly a healthy substance either. I drink both because I watch calories. There are some drinks that I like that do not come in sugar free so I will drink them on occassion.

sad but true...people that choose to drink diet drinks (ie-myself included) do it to save themselves teh dreaded extra 100 calories a day) I know aspartame sucks but I try not to think about it. I guess it comes down to the fact that I'd rather die and be think than live and be fat. Isn't that friggin sad? i think it is.
