Do you tag and upload discussion photos? Why or Why Not? I'm not today.

I have never uploaded any pictures since I started on here as I feel it takes too long to upload something whereas I could have answered a couple of discussions in the length of time it would take to find a picture adn then to upload it . As well with the tags , I always skip them as I have never figured out what they were for :)

I rarely tag, I haven't seen any difference in pay, I just don't usually bother doing it.

Adding tags or skipping them doesn't affect your pay in anyway so don't worry about not adding them. It is essential to add relevant tags and better to skip if you aren't in the mood to do it..hehe It's good to not do than to mess up the system with silly tags which I've seen a lot of users add to discussions. I stopped loading photos long long ago, its definitely not worth anything..sometimes mylot pays for images and sometimes they don't...that's a mystery again!

I always tag everytime i posted or respond to any discussion.I dont upload any photo yet because i was not able to reach the 500 responses to any discussion or posts discussion.You need to tag to able to classify easily its discussion and responses to their respective similar discussion and easy to search.

i dont tag alot,cant be botherd unless i start a discussion so the go in the right discussions

yea i do upload photos .. but i always upload photos only to interests fields . but not to the individual topics... do i get paid more if i upload photos for the discussions.. please give me the awnser.. i know that it easy to earn uploading photos.. because we earn 1 cent for 1 photo sure shotly with out any doubt . which is not possible with discussions kind of earning..thats why i usually upload lot of photos daily ,, may be around twenty or so daily.. but today i found that there is a maximum no of photos that we can upload for each day.. i just got message that i cant upload any more photos .. is there any remedy for this..and what abt this tagging work .. do we get paid for the tagging also?

OH I'm too lazy to put tags on my responses and photo tags ... I don't even upload photos cause I don't have appropriate photo for the discussion. I don't think that not putting any tags will affect our earnings since it is only use for the categorizing the discussion and responses.

i do sometimes....and i really have stopped caring about how much i am earning per post...it just seems to be deacresing...

I'm fairly new to mylot, and after reading into quite a few discussions I'm beginning to notice a few things. I'm not too sure about how the tagging works, but I do tag the majority of the discussions that I respond to. I have also started uploading photos to discussions that I am starting, as well as uploading to the 'interest' section and picking up money for that. I upload the photos because I have tons of pictures on my laptop - I'm a photo-holic! They do add a nice touch to discussions.

when i was just starting here at mylot, i'd always disregard/skip adding tags to my discussions. then after i made a reply to one discussion, i tried adding tag to it. from then on, i find it a must to add tags to every discussion i replied to. i don't know if i do gain anything from tags, but i think i just got used to adding tags to every discussion i reply to. in terms of picture, i'd search for a possible picture that can relate to my discussion but i always forget to attach it.

I've uploaded several photos, partly because I couldn't upload them to a discussion. At least I was able to upload them to my profile & just reference the pic being in my profile if I needed to, until I reached 500 posts. Now that I've reached the 500 posts, I find it's nice to have a photo or pic uploaded to the discussion so it's right there with the discussion. I do have a tendency of tagging all my discussions & photos, not only for MyLot, but also for my own reference. While the mylot guidelines say you should enter at least one tag, I find it useful to add as many as I can thing of, with finding it again later in mind. Tagging is also very useful in search engine results, so they can be very helpful if used properly. ps. have you read the tagging section in the FAQ? I just found it recently, but it's very informative. :)

I was wondering almost the same thing. I tag everything. How do you go back and look at them? Because I always tag coming and going, discussions, and responses but where are they at? There is no catagory for TAGS

I tend to skip tags only when I respond to posts on a discussion rather than when I make a main response myself to a discussion. I would be interested to know whether there is an affect on payment. So far I have not detected any difference. I have posted a picture once on a discussion I started. I uploaded the photo because it was specificalyy the subject of the discussion. but as you say, for 1c it's hardly worth the effort.

i always skip my tags and never uploaded any photos and edit them...i'm just so tired and lazy to do it...what will i get if i dont ignor them?

yes i do write tags but i dont upload lots of pictures i only have about 5-6 pictures uploaded till now but i do write tags with everry postings when i started using mylot i dont use to write tags but now i do althrough i came to know that tags makes more money from your disscussions but i sometimes write funny or fool tags with some disscussions.

I do like to post discussion with images. But doing that everytime makes it a bit boring so I do it only when its meaningful and if adds something to the post.

i always put some tags when I want my discussion to be search, but usually, i also dont put some tags so that I could post faster to make more cents. hehe.

I don't bother to upload photos as I think that it doesn't pay enough. Also I have seen other people put up pictures that are mine and get credited for them, and I don't like that so I don't bother any more. I never put tags on my responses. I think it is a waste of time and effort. I put them on my discussions that I start and if everyone was made to do this then we wouldn't need the annoying page coming up every time.

Lol. I upload photos when its necessary.Sometimes pictures can speak loudest.And i do tag on every of my responses.It has become a habit now.I don't mind if my earning is low but atleast it helps in organising our discussions.

i dont put tags sometimes.. just got nothing to say/put.. LOL
