What is your favorite item to crochet?

I love making doilies and Baby Booties. My grandson has tons of booties and toys that I have made. He is yarn obsessed! He has the entire pooh collection that I crocheted. So what do you like to make.

I enjoy granny square baby blankets. Such an easy pattern. I've recently made one for my daughter who is having a baby in September. She picked out the blue yarn before she found out what she was having, and I already had it made, when she found out she was having a girl. So now I will have to make her a pink one. Oh well, it is something I enjoy

Congrats on the baby! I just really enjoy crocheting. When your daughter has her baby, ask the nurses if anyone there is low income that they know that has a baby boy and gift them with the blanket. They will treasure it and never forget you for it. Feels great! Thanks for your response!

I think my favorite things to make are doilies. I really like working with the thread cause I think the lacy stuff is so pretty. I'd like to try making an afghan sometime, but I just haven't really gotten around to it yet.

I love doilies! Right now I am in a frenzied baby girl crochet because my daughter is giving me a grand daughter September 27 via scheduled c-section! Cannot wait! I did an afghan for a friend and was really pleased with it. I now need to do one for me. I just like to see the results right away and you get that with doilies. Thanks for your response!

This may sound weird but I love to make hat and scarf sets. You can take any stitch pattern you like and make a hat and scarf. I've tried so many. I sold a bunch on ebay but now I'm to low on yarn, but when I get more I'll be at it again.

Not weird at all! Anything crocheted is great! Hats and scarfs are a great thing in the winter time!
