i'm always too shy to say it. i only try to please them so that they can feel my love for them. sometimes i think i should say it to them but i don't know how. perhaps it will embarrass us both.

I show my family that I love them in many ways but I also tell them that I love them.I lost my father at an early age and I didn't get to say goodbye. I learned then to always tell the people I care about that I love them. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't tell my mom that I love her. Its the same way with the rest of my family , I make sure that the last words I say to them is that I love you.

pfft LOL no...I dont say I'm sorry OR I love you and most likely never will...I have no need to say I'm sorry for anything when it comes to them and I dont love them so why say it ya know..

I am like you. I love my parents very much and am very grateful for all they've done to me. But in our family it's not accustomed to say "I love you" all the time. I do say these words constantly to my husband and to my litte son, but not to my parents. But on special occasions like birthdays we do share our feelings and tell each other these words.

I have never told them directly that i love them.it is so embarrassibg to directly tell them, but with so many gestures & behaviour they do know that i love them a lot.
