Soft or Hard?

We all can handle software like, Windows, Office or just browsers as we go through our daily tasks. But how many actually ever opened the case and installed or upgraded Hardware? A bigger hard disk, extra RAM chip, faster VEGA card. Or fixed something by identifying the faulty part and replacing it .. Do you do this yourself? Get help from a friend or family member? Or just send it to service?

I must confess I am more a software person. Maybe because I am soft-hearted. LOL :P But really, I am ok with fiddling around with the software but I will leave the hardware potion to friends.
