I cannot really get into eating white bread.. I have tried several times..Why I buy it..I don't know..To me it tastes like "nothing" . Sometimes it resembles my idea of what cardboard or paper would taste like? Any one know any good tasting white bread? I like rye bread or pumpernickle bread ..Wheat by itself is not that appetizing.. but honey wheat is .. I went and spent time in Portugal and their bread was so yummy ..now I can't seem to get use to the skimpy bread I find here...:(+

Rye bread is the best kind of bread there is and it's actually most popular bread here in Finland. I eat white bread also sometimes and tasted paper once, so can't agree with you about that white bread tastes like paper;)

From every paper I read, the white bread is worse for our health than the wheat. I don't like your rye, or pumpernickle breads, they taste funny to me. But being a Southerner I guess it would.

i always buy white bread to make my sandwhiches on, because i do not like to take away from the taste of my sandwhich. I get the white italian bread. it is much softer but i can not get into wheat or rye bread i think it taste gross, but that is just my opinion.

Homemade white bread would be better. We buy diet whole wheat with the little grains still in the bread and like that. I don't like how fresh white bread just sticks to the top of your mouth! LOL It might make a good glue! LOL.

The healthiest of the three, I am sure you know ..is the pita bread..How yummy it is and you can stuff it with sprouts, diced tomatoes and cheese and have a healthy lunch:)+

I like white bread. Some baker shops have better bread than others. Here, once in a while city sanitary services shut bakeries that put a forbidden substance when making bread (I just can remember its name). Was portuguese bread white?
