First we go to church then we come home and I start dinner. we have an easter egg hunt for the children and just spend time together playing or whatever.
sometimes depending on how the whether is we might grill outside. after dinner we give the children the easter baskets which are always home made by me. my mother always made my easter baskets and I loved it so I do the same for my kids. sometimes we take a drive if it is not too late. we really enjoy easter it is a fun time for us. the night before the kids help with coloring the eggs and so its just a really great time.

The perfect Easter for me is started with a Sunrise service in Church. Sometimes this can be followed by an all church breakfast, other times, I just prefer to go home and reflect. Then later in the day, around three, we have a family dinner. Even though the family has shrunk substantially with the growing up of children and moving away, I still enjoy fixing a full Easter dinner. I miss having little ones around on Easter though, they are so precious.

Yes, I am excited, as this will be my first Easter Dinner, that I am cooking. I have done Thanksgiving and Christmas, but never Easter...I am 23, and I have a 3 year old and 6 month old, and we have usually went to my guys family's house, but this year we are staying home! Sounds Good, I am sure you will enjoy it! =)

Easter is really just another normal day for us except my son gets a few Easter goodies. I might cook a nice dinner this time round, only because its our first Easter in the USA (hehe).

My Easter sucks. Society has changed since I was a child. Every one is divorced so I have to spend my day off running to 7 different houses. What a waste.
Personally I think everyone should get together at one location. Maybe several non related families get together a town hall or some other place for rent. The ones who can't get along can stay at home.
I am tired of gong 7 different places. The same goes for Christmas. It only pisses me off. LOL. It isn't that bad but come on. Is it that hard to get along for one day?

Normally at Easter I like to go down to my retreat which is by the sea, unfortunately the venue is booked this year and there are no free places so I am going with friends for a delayed 'Easter' on the 20th April. I do not celebrate Easter so apart from having the two days off, I will probably be spending them relaxing at home.

I was going to celebrate it with lamb on Saturday night because my mom had other obligations, even though I and my brother have to work on that day. But, now, we are going to have breakfast and go to church on Sunday. Then, she is going to her in-laws for dinner.
