Proof Please! What Proof is there that the US will attack Iran Apr. 6th?

Hi! i have already discussed this issue of 6th April and don't just want to repeat as per rules. you can see here. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/914079.aspx?p=2 Beside, the main topic i am really deeply disheartened and was caught in trepidation by the comments made in this thread. i wonder if anyone here has least knowledge about what has been going on out there, except that for what you know from media giants? I am disappointed how you forgot the American dealing with the prisoners in Abu gareb, in guantanamoB and in unannounced torture cells spread in europe, mideast and africa. Refusal of American government to put them to trial, brutal torture, no access to justice, no reasons to detain them, no charge sheet to defend against, severe violations of geneva convention. I am disappointed that how early you forgot 1,245 rendition flights and how europeans countries specially UK colluded in them. how early you forgot, how CIA snatched hundreds of people illegally. they were also sons of their poor mothers, brothers of their sisters, fathers of their children, husbands of their wives. how could you forget!!! just how could!!! One of the responders said that Iran has acted like this with everyone. i wonder if you have any gist of what America had been doing in Iran, before the popular revolution. i wonder if you really know how America supported and colluded with shah of Iran in killing more than 1 million people, women, children and old people. I really wonder if you really know what American governments and specially CIA has been doing all these years. They talk of democracy while support every dictator who supports them even if that dictator kills thousands and hundred of thousands of people. Same America provided Saddam Hussain with chemical and biological weapons back in early 80s to be used against iranian and kurd civilians and saddam easily got away with his crimes coz he was following American agenda at that time. how could you forget!!! I wonder how you forgot what America has been doing in latin America. How it has been supporting killers in eastern europe. UK colluded in most of the crimes with America. I am disappointed how arrogantly, barbarically and hatefully, one responder talked about droping Nukes on Iran. do you have slightest of idea what nukes do with the population. have you ever had chance to visit japanese cities where this act of barbarity was done. How could you say that? just how could!!! only if you knew what American governments, Pentagon and specially the CIA has been doing, your response would have been much even handed and humane. i can really talk at length about 9/11 and other events, how naivly American people were convinced about what has been told to them. how easily they believed that some young guys got training on simple aircrafts and was able to skillfully maneuver the most complex and intricate planes, which is more than difficult for even excellently trained, skilled and experienced pilots. I am leaving this thread in deep sorrow and dismay. it's not your fault, it's nobody's fault. only if you could come out of the media traps, the world will be much better.

I haven't even heard anything like that? I would assume Britain would be the first to attack, perhaps with our backing up? Personally, I'm amazed Britain has remained as close lipped as they have thus far about the whole incident. Perhaps we're just not really hearing it over here in the US but I do believe that no matter what the US will back up the UK in this! I sure hope so! Iran has acted like this with everyone and it's about time we straighten them out if you ask me.

Russia is where this story originated from. If I were a conspiracy theory dude I would say that we gave a story to Russia to leak to the press in order to scare the living wits out of Iran.

I have just recently heard of the whole US bombing Iran thing on Mylots (lol) today. I think it is ludacris (and I don't mean the rapper dude). My boyfriend who is proudly American researched this today and in fact this rumour originated in Russia (media) supposedly from a retired Russian General. There is an article (sorry I can't provide the URL) where the Russian Defence Minister said (not verbatim) that this rumour is a myth. Maybe the Russian general was hypthisizing? We all know how romours can begin from supposition. I think the US would want to finish up the rebuilding and stabiization of Iraq and Afganistan before thinking of trying to get rid of the Iranian crazies that are currently in leadership. For me this is all supposition and rumour.
