California Smoking Bans

United States

Here we go again with California (unfortunately) setting the model for the rest of the Unites States to digest and eventually incorporate. What are the effects of 2nd hand brush fire smoke to one's health? How many Gazillion cigatettes would have to be smoked to equal even one Calorornia brush fire smoke output? Notice I am not even touching the brush fire effect on the global warming issue....

I think the smoking bans are getting a little outrageous. I'd rather just have them making smoking illegal, and save me the torture of wondering whether I will not be able to smoke outside my house one day.

Do not give up...Giving up th "whiners" making policy is exactly what has gotten into this mess of not addressing the very important issues facing this nation...geesh how many laws/bans do we need on the smoking thing? I missed the boat when this line item became an absolute crisis facing this nation....

OH how very true that is. I agree that the smoke from one brush fire is far worse then what will ever be put out by smokers. Let alone the fumes from cars and factories. The smog out in California is pretty bad. You can't tell me that smokers have done as much damage as all the other things that have caused enviromental problems in this world. Oh and don't forget the Volcanoes going off in the North West. All that smoke and ash going into the air can't be very good for the enviroment or global warming. Let's leave smokers alone and find ways to fix the bigger problems.
