I have recently signed up as an affiliate for a company that has Gift Baskets, Gourmet candies & Nuts and lots of other Yummy stuff. I haven't generated an income from it yet because I have just gotten started, but I have made 1 sale so far (HOORAY for me...lol). I really want to make this a successful home business because jobs in my area are far & few and the pay isn't all that great either.
I have been trying to market my webstore online, to family & friends, parents at the school and everywhere else that I can possibly think of.
What has been working for you? Are you getting your sales from word of mouth? Online? Family & Friends?
Any ideas or suggestions to help me get started?

Samples are always great. I get a lot from word of mouth now but it all started with family and friends and online friends. Make a brochure if you can and pass them out. I will check out your site soon.

I was thinking about getting some samples and wrapping them up in little gift baggies, attaching a business card and passing them out to my neighbors, parents at the school, family & friends. I thought this way people would be able to taste how good the products are and then may be more willing to buy them.

You are lucky! do you make enough money doing what you do?I work 3 days a week as a receptionist and I hate it,the work is boring and I spend the entire day thinking about all the things I have to do when I get home!i do some internet work..paid surveys,data entry,ppc,mylot,reffering etc but I am lucky to make $10 a week doing that.I work only for money and keep looking for the perfect job but I am pregnant with my 3rd so cant find anything concrete for awhile but if you know of anything please let me know.

I make jewelry and Christian jewelry, that I have been doing for a little over a year. I enjoy doing it. I would like to get a web site to show case it. The Christian jewelry I make is used for witnessing tools, and say things such as I (heart) Jesus, Jesus (heart) Those are just a few of the ones I make. And I have a regular customer at church who buys them often. I would like to show case them as fund raisers eventually too.
