hi y'all we are right here in kaaawa by the ranch where they film. wife and daughter are huge fans, love doc and sawyer. anyway we have a debate going. i think the show is great, but way to slow paced seem almost like real time. my wife and daughter think it is just right. the first group to get 10 like views will win the debate we have, the loser dose the dishes every night for a week. how do you all feel about the show. would love to hear some feedback.

Me and my mom both love this show she works when it is on so i have to tape it for her to watch. As much as i like it i do wish sometimes they would speed things up a bit and give us a lil more insight into what is really going on. So i would have to say i agree with you that it does go a little slow but that's also part of why it is good if they didn't leave us wondering every episode we wouldn't be so addicted to watch the next one and try a get a few answers.

hmmm tough one, I was going to say the pace is fine as they are stranded on an island and it's good to see the character development in almost real time...but then I kinda changed my mind and now think it's too slow lol It's only too slow because nothing in the damn show makes any sense! Everytime you think you have something worked out, new questions pop up. I think they need to start answering some questions soon, or some viewers may start to tune out! So then in conclusion...I'm not sure who I agree with. i think I'll have to go with you and say it's too slow as I'd really like to know whats going on lol

You're not going to like me on this one, but I think you are both right. It does seem to be paced in real time. On the last episode didn't they say something about being there for 43 days? Seems like years doesn't it? But the timeline seems natural... except for the viewer. For the viewer it is going really slow because we are getting more questions than answers. They are really drawing it out (almost like an episode of the game show "Identity".... stalling tactics drive me crazy. And like a soap opera, we are supposedly watching in real time (except when they age children really quickly), but they sure know how to draw out a storyline. You can miss an episode and not have missed anything. That is the same thing, I believe, that happened with last week's episode of Lost. Nothing really was missed because nothing new happened with the current characters, current situations. It was filler. That, I think (I'll probably find out in future episodes) was a complete waste of time. Perhaps you can all wash the dishes together as a family. ;-)

I think the show is going great. Think of it like a good novel you are reading, if you only get to read one chapter per week, it's going to take some time to get through the whole book. If they answered all the questions and there wasn't any more mystery surrounding the island, the show wouldn't be as interesting. I don't think Lost is moving too slow, I think it is perfect, it's the best show I've watched in a long time.

1 more point for dad! Lost was getting really fast and action packed at the begining until the other section of people on the other side of the island came into it. Too many characters were intruduced to the story line and we didnt even get to finish if all the other peoples stories... now most of the 3rd season episodes are sloww and boring fillers. So I hope this helped you from washing those dishes mate ;)

Lost is based in real time. So that means since the plane crashed in 2004, it is still 2004 even though it is really 2007. I haven't figured out whether one episode represents 24 hours, or whether some episodes represents a few hours. But it certainly is not one season representing one year or Aaron would be walking by now.

I think this has been the best season yet .Every episode has been intriguing ; Now I know everybodies looking for answers and I'm sure we'll get some before long But i'm thinking that the writers never expected this show to be so popular and they made the whole premise to narrow so the only way to broaden it's scope is to interject the episodes based off individual characters .So we viewers end up watching two shows, one week melodrama and the next week adventure .How else are they going to make it last ? What would you do ?
