I like psycology too and I even subscribe to Psycology Today. I love reading the interesting topics in this magazine. Have you ever read it winterose? If not I am sure you would love it. The topic that I can never shut up about though would have to be music. I love to talk about my favorite bands, artists, and songs. I like so many different kinds of music and there are so many different bands and artist out there I don't think you could ever run out of things to say about music. See I can't shut up! LOL :0

yes psychology today is a great magazine, not an academic one, but a great one, it takes research and explains it in every day language

When in college, I once got addicted to psychology. I now like painting very much. Maybe that is my only hobby.

I used to really like psychology and did study, although for only one semester in college. I wanted to be a psychologist, but started working and took a year off college...i haven't gone back. I guess i still do love psychology, cuz i'm always the one my friends come to when they need "counseling" and i love to be able to give them advice, and listen to them, just be there for them.

Hi Winterose. I have to say mine is self help. and how we can change our feelings about ourselves,I took a Life Skills Coaching Course and It was instrumental in my changing my life from the most passive intimidated fearful person you would never want to meet. I believe that now even with dementia, I am a better functioning person I try to be balanced not passive nor aggressive but assertive. I can and do stand up for myself. I know my self worth. and I fear very little. Before I believed myself to be pathetic and worthless. and that is how I came across, now I have confidence in my self and my abilities. And I like myself. Thanks for an excellent post

Psychology is one area I found interesting after I have trouble reading people's mind and behaviour. But none of my friends are in it as it is a deep topic to go into details :)
No, I do not insist on a favourite topic as it would be boring discussing on the technicalities of it. It's crap that keeps me going. I enjoy being crappy with a particular group of friends, and we can go on and on. We talked on many topics and on any topics. It's just having fun among ourselves.
