Hi...This is my first time posting a new discussion.
Please be gentle! LOL!
What is the general opinion of purchasing an e-book with resell rights, and turning right around and selling it without trying out the methods and techniques?
I blog over on Ebay blogs, and today, a fellow ebay blogger was advertising a BIN for an e-book that promised to make you get rich quickly. She is selling it for $19.95. This is a person who is always on the blogs talking about her fiance with a bad back and how he can't work, and she hasn't had much luck with her sales, so now she is resorting to selling these Get Rich Quick e-books
I tried to give her advice and tell her that she's risking her reputation and integrity, but she brushed it off.
I'm all for selling e-books as long as you've tried out the methods and applied them to your own listings, but she just bought this and turned right around and listed it, with the same description as the previous listing that she bought it from.
Why would you want to risk your reputation as a hard-working seller?
All comments are welcome!

I may have a completly different prospective on this. First off let me say that I am a freelance writer. I write a variety of material including books. I am currently working on some self published e-books as well as two novels. I work very hard on what I write. I write to help others and I write to earn a living. As a writer, I feel this is completely wrong, especially if she is putting her name on the book. It cuts out the profit for the original author, so in turn it hurts them. One can say that it is no different than buying books at a used books store or at a garage sale. But it is...generally those books have been read, and the author is building a reputation and a name. E-books have brought about many great things for writers, but it hasn't come without a price and damages as well. Personally speaking, I feel that if she hasn't tried the methods and has only bought the book as a means to earn money on ebay, that is sad. It will only hurt her ebay reputation. Some people will do anything for a buck, even sacrifice their integrity. I hope I didn't put any you off by my comments, they are just my opinion.
