Would it be any different if it were a man and a woman holding hands wearing t-shirts that says "Everybody loves a heterosexual"?
While I don't agree with homosexuality, I do not have the right to stop others from participating in that lifestyle.
I don't think tame displays of affection harm children. The look of revulsion/disgust (intolerance) they see on the faces of others do more harm.

ABSOLUTELY! I agree completely....
Also I dont see why ppl make such a big deal of it..I would be DEVASTATED if my neice and her partner EVER felt like they couldnt hold hands in public..that would anger me in the biggest way...If I had settled down with a woman instead of a man and I wanted to hold hand or give her a little peck in public I would...Why shouldnt g & l be allowed to show their love for one another?
Not to mention its gotta be a SOLID relationship to be publicly proud of your gay/lesbian relationship especially in the U.S....

i really don't think it any differen't than anything else that people do in front of children. I mean its life and they are allowed to wear what they want to and they are allowed say what they want. I mean its like parents smoking in front of their children but telling their children that they can't smoke. I think there is a lot of inappropriate behavor going on all over in front of children long before there were lesbians displaying that they where well lesbians.

Good points Task.
Lesbianism is most certainly NOT something you learn any more than being heterosexual (although society tries to teach everyone to behave heterosexually) is. It's a terrible misconception that someone can choose to be gay and is usually an argument used by bigots and homophobics. You are what you are. Seeing someone in a t-shirt does not encourage children to be gay.

Lesbianism is NOT simply a learned behavior. That is an assumption on your part, yet you state it as fact. Unless you are a lesbian who became one by learning it, you have no basis for that statement. I had a friend in highschool with two moms that were a lesbian couple. She was completely straight. Perhaps spending fifteen years living with lesbians wasn't enough time for her to learn something that you say children will learn in ten seconds from a t-shirt.

Gee, do you think that some of the sayings on non lesbian t-shirs are appropriate for little children to see. what's the big deal. its not like the children even know what the word says, or means, and if they are big enough to understand, they don't care. its only small minded bigots who are offended. i find it funny, actually since the original saying was 'everyone loves a lexus'

Male Dogs chase female dogs... I've never seen a male dog chasing a male dog even animals have more since than you all...ITS NOT NATURAL...IT GOES AGAINST NATURE...IT DOES NOT TAKE A ROCKET SCIENTIST!!!! so who is trying to be stupid now(keep your comments to yourself) its Obvious you have issues or you wouldn't be that way...Let go of all that anger.. Stop trying to justify dumb SH**

I was just wondering which part of the behaviour were you thinking was or was not appropriate? The hand holding or the t-shirt? If they were just holding hands would that have been okay? Or if they weren't holding hands but wearing the t-shirt? Even after reading your answers to other comments I am confused on which you find a problem?

that's funny... the t-shirt i mean... who cares what they wear, they were probly just taking the piss... if they had been hooking up in public that would be different. holding hands is fine... two girls can walk arm in arm together and not be lesbians too. i hold my girlfriends hand in public. i think the world has well passed the caring stage on that... well at least they should, its just the same as a guy and a girl holding hands... its socially accepted these days.
