Hi Friends and Members, Firstly I would like to thank you all for your prays as today my husband received the final results thank goodness for that, so that I do not have to worry so much about his dizzy spells.
Well my husband has received his blood tests and out of those results he now has high cholesterol I had told him many times to be careful with the amount of cholesterol food that he was eating but no he never listen to me well you know ladies some men are like this that they never listen to us woman and especially their wives. lol!!
Next his second test he had to have the brain scan well thank goodness as all is well in that area so I would just like to thank you so much for being here for me and with your prays and thoughts for me and my husband to come through all of this it was a worry for me due to he is getting on in his age now.
Love and thanks to all who cared and responded to my discussions regarding my husband's health problems you all are special to me and I know that you are truly my friend.

Kathy I am so relieved for you that your husbands results are not too bad and the scan was clear! A lot of people have high cholestorol and I myself have , not just because of the way they eat but because it can run in families - which means they have to be even more careful! I know what you mean by men not listening to us - I have one just the same, you end up having to answer the same thing 5 times cos they don't listen in the first place! lol Thank you for letting us know the good news Kathy, have been thinking of and praying for your family. xxx

You are right when it comes to men not listening. Bet he wishes he didn't turn a deaf ear so often. Hopefully he will now change his eating habits. Huggers to you both.

Kathy that is great too hear. I held you two in my prayers nightly as i am sure many on here did. Now you know the next move you know what there is to know about health and fitness. Start the hubby on a cholestrol free diet and get him to increase his physical activity as much as he is able. If he protests just tell him you are doing it out of love and want him to be around alot longer yet. An you know all kinds of good recipes that he can most likely eat so he dont have to worry about not eating well and enjoying it as long as he has you. Tell him i am happy for him that the scans come back fine.

I am really glad to hear that everything has come out great for you and your husband. I go through the same thing with my boyfriend we are trying to get some of his weight off of him he is only 33 and he now weights about 295 but my gosh he just loves to eat and his biggest thing is starchy foods I keep telling him he needs to cut back but like you said you know how men are. but anyway I am sending you two my love and glad that everything is alright. much joy to you both.

Kathy I am thrilled about the results.Do you know that garlic lowers cholesterol? If the hubby doesn't like it then have him take the garlic capsules..Some are odorless also. There are natural things that can lower it.Check this site.Hugs

Well it sounds like over all you had some great news, congratulations! Sounds like the doc will give him some medication, and maybe have him watch what he's eat and given all the things you were worried about, I'll bet you are now doing the happy dance!

Oh Praise the Lord - this is wonderful news, I mean not wonderful that he still has problems to deal with but the alternatives could have been so much worse. We will now just have to pray that your darling husband will listen to you and eat better to correct the high cholesterol problem..

Kathy, I am so relieved to hear that your husband is ok. The high cholesterol can be helped by pills as your doctor would have told you, but your hubby must now watch what he eats! I have high cholesterol and am on tablets, but since I changed my diet to low fat/low carb, my cholesterol has improved and I don't need to take the pills anymore! You are right, they don't listen to us, so I would alter his diet discreetly and gradually so that he doesn't even notice! It might help.

Well what good results. The cholesterol problem can easily fixed up with proper eating habits and medication. I'm sure the doctor informed you, but I just want to add I'm happy hubby will be fine. Thank You also for letting us know, it's always nice to hear back because there are some of us that really are interested in results. Take care of each other and now you can rest easy.

I'm so glad to know that your husbands health problems are not too severe after all that worrying.
Cholesterol can be easily managed by watching what he eats and making sure he has a healthy diet and I'm sure that will be easily sorted. My mother has high cholesterol too and she manages it fine.
