Citronella is another plant that mosquitoes don't like. It's part of the mint family (I think) and very easy to grow. I'm sure how much your rosemary helps depends on how big it is and how much of an area you are trying to protect. If you don't want to plant a lot of plants and want a natural deterrant, you can always put some essential oil on a rag/cloth and put it in the area. That won't last as long as having the plant, of course, but it will give some relief.

as to where to buy citronella...it depends where you live and what nurseries/stores are near you. In NJ, I knew of a few places that sold the plant. Now I'm in FL, but I don't recall seeing any in the local nurseries/Lowes/Home Depot, etc. It's not expensive--I can't see why it should be hard to find or order. Luckily, we don't have too many mosquitoes in our area (and they bite my husband and not me, so I'm pretty safe!). Good luck in keeping them at bay!

I never heard of rosemary plant being effective against mosquitoes. I am going to have to try that out. I knew about citronella, but actually didn't know that there were citronella plants. I just always used the tiki torches and citronella candles. I don't think I've ever seen the actual plant. I'm going to have to investigate.
Thank you for the tips. We get mosquitoes really bad around here.
