personally, i don't think sticking to one would be that effective. people, specially students, have very different characteristics. and these differences require different means of discipline. most prefer democrats since they can freely move without too much pressure. it would be more effective if you could use all three types of leadership in the classroom. c',)

Democratic. In mu classroom we all make decisions. The opinion of my students is vital when it comes to all the activities to be developed. This includes classroom behavior rules.

for me of course democratic, if students broke the rules as a teacher not just go and punish that student, teacher need to hear what thae explaination and if the answer good enough mabe teacher no need to punish that student, or in class we must hear what sudent opinion and suggestion.
Student has right to ask, to give idea.

I do not prefer either one, because one is too strict and the other is too liberal. I come from the old school and teach my religion class responsibility for their actions and respect for themselves and others. Hopefully, they learn how to respect themselves, each other and their teachers in my class. They are responsible for reading the chapters and then being able to give answers to questions asked in class and talked about in class. They also give themselves stars when they have read each chapter. I try and impress upon them that they are not fooling me when they don't do their work, they are fooling themselves. I also give them gifts and impress upon them that the reason I am giving them gifts is to let them know that God is always giving us gifts every day of our lives. At the same time I impress upon them to beware of anyone who might give them gifts to try and get them alone so they can abuse them. They are told to never allow themselves to be put in that type of position, or want to be the one the teacher likes the most because love multipiles and a good teacher cares for all of them.
