what can you say about Philippines?

I can say that Philippines is a great country. It's beautiful and anywhere you go, there's always a tourist spot or two. The only unfortunate thing about this country though, is politics. :) Do you agree?

It is a beautiful country with good history and beautiful beaches, malls, historic sites and friendly good intelligent people

Philippines, i would say is the most endowed of all country in Asia. We have one of the most unique of culture, having more than 600 ethnic heritage in our history & for a long time have existed well in peace & harmony until the invading conquerors - Spaniards - slowly but surely destroyed it during the span of 300 years as sovereign. The succeeding invasions & wars that followed made it more worse. We were left devastated in many ways, but more significantly our culture was very much hazed that hardly now we have a real ingrained culture in practice. We were once very proud & distinct of races on this side of the planet. If one will go back to the times of Lapu-lapu, it was unheard that there was among in our ethnicity that are head hunters or war mongers during those times. Unlike our neighboring countries who abound with them & their history is full of it even up to the turn of the century. Natural resources in our country is so plentiful despite the long abuse it sufferred they still produce & some are still undiscovered. But these natural resources are fast declining brought on by unchecked progress due mainly to massive corruption. The disease we got from previous invaders - insecurity in ourselves, political corruptions, greed, etc. etc. Im proud to be pinoy, im just mad whenever i see one in a foreigners behaviour. One day the real pinoys will rise, as of now thy're just gathering crowd to build up the storm.
