Do you learn best with or without music in the background?

I'm comfortable having music while studying but sometimes I am getting confused by it because sometimes I cant focus well on my studies because I found myself distructed by the music coz' I sing with it...but I also love having music on my side coz I feel so relaxed and calm...

It really depends on my mood. Some days I can't do a thing without music playing, and sometimes I can't do anything if there is a single noise in the house. When I'm doing graphics and pictures, I love to play orchestra music, like philharmonic. Music is amazing though!

I prefer to have a quiet enclosed space when studying. No things in the room expect a space to seat or lie down. haha. Sometimes I sleep when I study, even if it is just for 25 minutes. I always have an alarm clock with me to wake me up. I only listen to my iPod when Im on a break from studying. When I study I prefer to hear my voice out loud. I talk to myself when I study and take note it always work for me. Inshort im noisy when I study.

i don't think music can distract me from my work. Actually, it depends on the music. I am used to learning and doing my homework with musical background but i can also learn in a public library without a single problem. I do know a lot of people who can't focus on a subject because they are distracted. And not only music is a distraction factor. There are many others. It's just a perspective of some of our parents that we should learn in absolute silence. In my oppinion that's a bit old-fashioned, bat that againg, some people simply can't learn with musical background.

I love listening to music while studying (especially classicals) but even though I can study longer because I'm also enjoying myself at the same time, my speed drops noticably. I catch myself concentrating on the music instead of my study.. I still prefer listening to music though.

I can pretty much study anywhere. I don't know, I'm not the kind who needs peace and quiet just as long as I'm in the mood to study coz if not, no matter how quiet it is, I wouldn't be able to concentrate.

If I have to read it is best for me to have quiet or maybe some soft, classical music playing. Math or accounting type homework, I can have most anything going on in the background. In fact, it was best to have music I like in the background because I could pause between problems and get a quick pick me up with a favorite song or something.

well, while studying i want my mood to be calm and composed.i think most of us can only study and concentrate only when they get proper peace of mind.wteva kinda music u listen whether itz soft or rock.soft music makes u a lil emotional and rock music makes ur feet n body shakable.so i can neva study like that.other than that...all depends, itz an individual choice.buh-byee!!!!
