Absolutely...
there are a lot of benefits from swimming. You can get a complete body workout because you use most of your body's muscles when swimming. You can also gain tone and definition from it.
The water also provides natural resistance, something like a nautilus machine would do anyways, except you work more of your body at once. Swimming also builds stamina and strength in the water which can translate into other activities outside the water.

why not while pregnant i've never heard that before..i swam both times i was pregnant all the way till the ninth month...

Swimming is a very good form, because you are using all the potential you have, all energy, all muscles, so it has very wide advantages , And it is also increase your lungs capacity so it is very healthy and one of the most excitable and beautifull sport.

Swimming is a fantastic way to exercise..you use so many of your muscles while swimming but without all the stress on your joints...we go swimming every weekend i always feel great afterwards so relaxed ...i would love to be able to swim every day...

swimming is the est exercise because it will make you move and use your muscles , and at the same time you dont feel hot , you always feel your refreshed. maybe we can go swimming sometime!

Aside from building stamina and toning the muscles, swimming also helps strengthen the lungs especially of people who have asthma. People who have scoliosis benefits a lot through swimming because every stroke helps build good muscles tone of the back that can support the spine.

Swimming & boxing are probably the best exercise sports i've ever seen. The workouts & the sports itself tend to focus the whole aspects of your body. Cardio, strength, agility, mentally & physically. Plus these are individual sports which means, you have to excel above other people in order to win.
