No I do not but I certainly would. It would be great to give my wife a break, Now I know what you are thinking I could do it and give her that break. And I have tried that but she just goes behind me and re does whatever I did so I gave up.

I don't have one, they're not that cheap where I live. But, I have considered hiring a cleaning crew from time to time when my health was failing. I have so much clutter that I have to get rid of in order to make my place really clean, though.

I don't have one, but there are times when I wish I could have one. Yes,I would certainly consider it especially during the times when I am recovering from surgeries or procedures and need the extra help.

I've had this debate with my family for the past 3 years. My husband and i have been back and forth with this issue. It is disturbing for me to leave my 2 boys in the care of somebody else because my husband works on shift duty i work during school hours.
And to actually have the maid live with us, is another issue. I'm not a trusting person because of past experiences. So i don't really want outsiders to pry into my private lives and know every detail of my life.
On the other hand, it is tough to get my house in ship shape everyday after work because i have to get dinner ready, bathe the boys and feed them dinner before getting down to schoolwork or revision. Then lights off for them and if i'm not tired, online for me *yay* So as you can see, we are still undecided *wink*- Lyn

I don't have one now. I would love to have a maid/housekeeper though. I think my husband would be a lot happier if we had one. I wish I could afford to have one.

I don't have a maid or a housekeeper. Most stuff I do on my own even if it takes me twice as long as anybody else to get it done. I have different medical conditions that I deal with, and since I have limited limited energy and mobility, I do what I can, and the rest my daughter and her husband help me with. (I am SO blessed!!!) If I ever got to the point I couldn't do most of the housework, I would consider hiring a part time housekeeper to help me keep the house in line...it wouldn't be fair to have my daughter feel responsible for helping with everything as she has her own life to live:-)

i do not have a housekeeper, because i can't afford one. And even if i could afford one i do not think i would. I may hire a cleaning company to come in like once or twice a year to deep clean my house but never to have one on a weekly basis.

That would be my idea of absolute blissful living! I'd love to have a housekeeper come in every week and clean my house! Just can't afford to hire one! And.....I'd have to really clean my house before they came in the first time! LOL

We do have a housekeeper that we share with my mother and 2 daughters in law. Her husband is a hired hand on our ranch and she wanted to earn some extra money.
It takes a load off since we are in such a busy season right now. We have had them here working for us for many many years.

I usually do all the house cleaning but there have been a few ocassions where we have been preparing for a big party at the house and there is too much other stuff to do where we have used a maid service. It's just one less thing to worry about when planning a big party.

My girlfriend has had a housekeeper for he last 5 years. It's actually my aunt. She goes in like twice a week and does all the cleaning, vacuming etc. I don't think I could have someone do that for me no matter how busy I am. Not because I wouldn't trust them but because I'd feel like I'd always have to clean up before3 the maid came. I guess that kinda defeats the purpose. LOL!

I would love to have a housekeeper come in once a week and clean my house. I wouldn't want a full time one because I like my privacy. I don't have one though because I can't afford it.

I do not have a maid or housekeeper just because I cannot afford it, only very rich people can have them. Even if i am rich and I can afford to pay them, I will not hire them. I am a clean person and I will clean up by myself, i do not need someoen to do it for me as my house is not that big, also i just do not want other people to touch my personal belongings,i am afriad i cannot find my stuff after they clean up for me as they just put them in an unfamilar place.

If I got o the point where I was just never home and din't have time, then I would get one, as long as i had the money for it. I kinda like cleaning my home though.

I don't have a housekeeper, but I wouldn't mind hiring one to clean the kitchen & bathroom twice a week. Those are the 2 places in the house I can't stand cleaning.
Ideally though, I'd rather save my money on the housekeeper and hire a cook. I'd rather clean than cook!
