I Love Cooking As Much As I Love Eating

Everyone loves eating but not all can cook. Honestly, I'm not a very good cook. Cooking for me is very enjoyable and helps so much if you enjoy what you're doing because it is incorporated in your work. Enjoying what you do makes your work easier and in terms of cooking, the food tastes better when the cook is happy with his cooking. They say that when you eat, it's like tasting what the cook is feeling. So when you're cooking, make sure that you're feeling good and in that way people will also feel good once they've eaten your food.

Till you love the cooking it's not a problem because others can enjoy the dishes you make but as you said you also like eating then I would suggest you one thing that your eating habit in future should not eat you itself.
Because love towards the food is ok but when some one exceeds the amount of food intake causes the obesity and further unhealthy complecations.
So my dear take care before loose your control about your health.
Wish you a good health.

I appreciate your concern but I'm very conscious with what I eat and of course the quantity matters too. People today are getting health conscious because of all the preservatives and chemical stuffs added to our food. In that case, I really take good measures in picking what food I have to eat and what food I shuld avoid.

I've heard it said that when you cook, the mood that you're in can effect the flavour of the food. Don't know how true that is, but makes me think when I have been out to a restaurant and had indigestion the next day!
It's a fascinating subject because according to Zen masters, we each are responsible (respond to) everything in our environment and thought can effect it.

Elders say that if you cook with interest, it adds extra taste to the dish and bad feeling while cooking adds bad taste to it. Anyway you are cooking, whether voluntarily or compulsorily, why not do it with liking? By this you will not get bored of cooking, your work interests you and naturally it tastes good. Do'nt you feel happy when your work whether cooked dish or any other work, is appreciated by others? More over you too will eat the dish enjoying it thoroughly well.

i love eating only not cooking though i know good cooking
i feel eating is far more easy than cooking than being in the hot kitchen for an hour i love eating.
Cooking is tough tough and involves time.eating is the easiest i can say.cooking not aall times comes out well. and cooking daily is the worst of all.you get nbored with the menus too!

Though a few people think I am good at it, I would disagree because when I do cook, all I am doing is following directions on a recipe or a box... nothing the average person wouldn't be able to do. Personally, I have never really experimented before, and I have always hated cooking. The reason: cleaning kitchens is TORTURE for me! So I have to buy things that are easy to make and don't make a big mess (and for me, which are healthy as well!!) because if I had to seriously cook, I'd probably starve!
I really do give major praise to all people who enjoy cooking though - they really do make life taste so much better! =)

I wish I'm a good cook. I'm working my way to be one. When I really have an opportunity to cook I would do so. Only that I am sometimes scared because what if my kids and husband won't like it. That's why I am always playing safe, rather than experimenting on new recipes I just stick to those I am expert with. Maybe when I already have full control of my time I would do some experiments so I can add some recipes to my expertise. I love eating that's why I want to discover how to cook all those menus I and my family love to eat.

I like to cook, but I love to bake, I see dinner as a means to dessert! But both cooking and baking have their own unique styles that are necessary. One can be a good cook and be a terrible baker and vice versa. I'm definately a better baker than cook, and it's because I get much more enjoyment from baking.

I love to cook too and actually think that Im pretty good an surprise myself sometimes. I sometimes have a bit of a dilemma as I will get all of the ingredients out and get them ready............but then I will eat them all before I get the chance to cook them LOL!!

I love to experiment and try out new dishes on my partner and kids. Most of them have been a resounding success with a few failures along the way.
I try to make sure that what I'm cooking is healthy and includes at least one serving of vegetables, or a Salad - sometimes both.
I want my kids to enjoy eating, but I also want to teach them the importance of eating right. I'm lucky in that they'll eat most anything I put in front of them. Of course there are a few things they don't like, and thats fine. I don't force it.
So long as my kids and my partner enjoy what I make, thats all that matters to me.

Both hands up! lol am guilty on this, cielo.. :P I love eating very much, but not at all the cooking thing... there are only a few dishes which I can confidently say I can manage to bring them to the table good enough.. unlike most women who are kitchen experts.
But I guess I have to love cooking and I have to learn doing it gracefully as when I get married, I need to cook my husband some good food, as they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. :P

Hi cielo,
I am a terrible cook, but I too love cooking. I think my cooking is getting better...lol....my wife says it is anyway. We have a big family and we are kind of old fashioned in that the kitchen is the heart of our home.
