Why don't we get a notice when someone replies

That's a feature I'd also like to have. I go to the "discussions I've responded to" but there's still no way to know if someone responded to my response unless I remember where it was or wade through the other responses to find it again. I've also forgotten about some because the "note" gets left several days later after I've responded to several pages worth of discussions. I try to go through several days worth of back posts when I can but it takes extra time that I don't always have.

That would be the most useful feature myLot should add, in my opinion. I am always very interested to see the replies to my replies but it is a bit inconvenient to do so because I have to go back to almost all the discussions I ever responded just to see whether a reply has shown up over night.

I agree with everyone else.I would love to have this on mylot.It would cut down on our time and they we could post more.

I think that would be a good idea too. I have in fact seen a lot of people that agree on this. I have no idea if anyone has ever asked the people running mylot to get this feature. I wish someone would...

well that's a very good idea carolee i think it would be wonderful if mylot will send email notices each time that sombody replies. i know that there was a little technical problem but i hope it will be fixed soon. because i usually got those notices until about a week ago. btu i think ther should also be e mail notices when ever the person that opened the post replies to our response. it would make life alote easier:)

This is a great idea. I go back check through discussions that I have replied to, but, as I can see the list keeps growing and it gets long. I would love to see a notification when I someone responds to a discussion or replies to a comment.

Im not sure about this one. I think I use to get a notice but I dont anymore. I wish we did because, like you, I reply to alot of them & dont remember to check back to see if anyone commented or not. I hope that they will start doing this soon & send out the email notices.

that would be so good. I always coment on people thatreplies in my discussions and many people do so - but not all. It would be nice to return to the discussions that u know u have an answer in!

It would indeed be a good thing to be told when someone would respond to your responses to others discussions. I try to do so when in responding to another discussion if I see one at the bottom of the page after checking my response to the current one. That does not always happen and I too can be bad about checking back and many are so eager to award a best response and close the discussion. Anyway, perhaps this improvement would be better than all the eye candy that they recently gifted us with.

I always get a email when someone replies to one of my posts. That sounds strange.

At first I thought you meant a notice that we had received a responce to one of the discussions we started, but now I see you mean a reply to one of our responses. I wish there was a notification as well because I don't get many comments on my responses, but the ones I do get are always good and sometimes (a lot of the time) they get lost in the shuffle. It would be a good feature, wouldn't it?

Yes, this would be great, I also wanted to say the same thing, I find it hard to track down and come back to discussions to read comments on my responses, I hope mylot will add this option in their next upgrade, it would be really a good thing to have.

I see my messages at least once a day.When I am free,I will to see it many times .Because I want to known other peple would do what decision when thry meet with the same thing with me .perhaps there considerations are comprehensive.They'll help me solve my problems.

Oh my--- I just started ti get this today! I've got alot of e-mail with people commenting on my responses- Its cool. Makes it alot easier to go back and carry on a conversation- I actually like the new feature- Or at least I think it is new. It just started happening. Maybe they read this post and others who wanted the same thing and acted upon it! Way to go mylot!

I don't like getting responses to my responses I left for OTHER people's posts. I am getting that right now. It's driving me nuts! I answer far more discussions than I do make discussions. Since yesterday though, I'm getting notifications of responses to my responses of other people's discussions. Does anyone know how to make it stop? I never indicated I wanted that. I don't mind going back and checking when I have the time, but this is getting silly! : )

I know what you mean. If they can send us a notification when someone responds to our discussion, how hard can it be for them to notify us when someone leaves a comment on our response? I would love to be able to go back and see if someone comments on any of my responses, and I try to check back, but in reality, it would take far more time than I have to check every response I have made.

This is a very good I idea, but sometimes I get confused when someone responds to a response that someone has left on my post.
