DO you believe in astrology?

How many of you guys, believe in Astrology? Has any prediction turned true for anyone? Well in my case it really happen. I believe that predictions may not match exactly but, partially it works. Recently, a astrologer predicted that my father would not be well during this year and might get into serious illness. I didnt give much importance to it. But it really did happen. He died last month out of Celebral Hammourage.

sorry about your father. i also believe in astrology but not astrologers. most of the astrologers today are half-educated quacks who take believers for a ride. the science of astrology is very ancient and a lot of research by our forefathers have gone into formulating it. our forefathers were wise people who had knowledge of many natural phenomena,of which we are no longer aware today. without comprehending and studying astrology in depth, its not prudent to label this ancient knowledge as hocus-phocus. i am yet to come across any selfless astrologer whom i can trust in. its a two-edged sword. once you start earning money in lieu of your knowledge, it becomes pure business, but if you dont charge people and become famous, you remain anonymous to most people!

Actually Astrology is a combination of science and Mathematics. So it is very hard to ignore it. Astrologers who mixup religion with astrology, does it for their own selfish reasons. You are right to say, that, one must choose a right astrologer. Never go to a person, who, sells precious stones as well. He is likely to misguide you. A person who practices astrology, just as a hobby, is the right person.

Astrology, no I don't believe in astrology at all. I am married from 3 years and my wife is manglik and according to hindu astrology any unmanglik male married to manglik girl will die soon. Even priests told my parents that I won't survive for long and will die soon. And see I'm here responding to your discussion after three years of marriage .

Samrat, there might be lot of reasons, for what has happened to you. You must know, astrology is a science and is linked to mathematical calculations, as well. There are high chances, that, the calculations, done by your astrologer, might not be exactly correct! Also these priests, does a lot of things for selfish reasons.
