Who does lorelai belong with?

Yea I love the Lorelai and Luke couple, but this past season has just been so rocky it's hard for me to see them together again. They've been so weird with each other... how can you go back to what it used to be after all that's happened? One time they ran into each other, and Lorelai was surprised at Luke's spontaneity for something, Luke was like, "Yea, well people change" in this cold sorta way. *sigh* There's gotta be a huge thing that happens that really brings them together, cuz at this rate... man I feel like they're both going to die alone =P.

Deffinately Luke, My self Personally I think he cares about her more. I always thought Christopher was a jerk, and I think Finnally Emily Sees that too. He may be Rory's father but they have grown apart and if the were meant to be together, they would have been together long ago. THis Christopher thing will only be a delay, until lorelai admits her feelings for Luke.

Luke. He's always been there for her, even now with her father's heart attack, he's still there. If it really is the final season like the rumors say, I really hope they get them back together and soon. A happy ending at least.

I think Lorelai belongs with Luke. I'm watching repeats of Season 4 right now, and the chemistry between them just steams up the screen. No matter what has happened between them, I believe that they are destined to be together.

She should be with Luke. I work nights and had already planned to take off the night of their wedding. Now I don't know if that is going to happen but there is a chance since she and Chris broke up.

Yep Luke, they were always meant to be together. The chemistry is just right between them, even when they are bickering. Honestly I HAD quit watching the show while her and Chris were an item, I couldn't STAND it.

So hard to say. Chris was so sweet for a while and then he turned into a jerk when Luke needed Lorelei's help to retain visitation of his daughter. Luke has always been there for her. They are a lot alike and have so much in common. Chris thinks his money will buy him happiness. I think, that the way things have looked lately, it seems as if Lor and Chris are over and now it is time for a more mature Luke to step up and reclaim his woman.

Definitely Luke. Chris is part of her past, she should move on. If it hasn't worked in the 20 years or whatever that she has been on and off with Chris I think she should just get over him. Obviously she was not meant to be with him or it would have worked right now. And Chris is really the big thing stopping her from getting together with Luke so if she would just get over Chris, her and Luke could be really happy together.

I say Luke. Sometimes hes a little weird but hes been there for Lorelai more then Chris has been. Chris is too jealous of everything to.

I have to agree! I think Luke is best for Lorelai, although I'm still a little annoyed at how he treated her. lol I SUPPOSE I could forgive him if he apologized to her for being so noncommital. Lorealai and Luke are BOTH pretty neurotic, and I can't imagine anyone else putting up with either one :)

I think she does pretty good on her own. She's very independant. She doesn't need a man to be complete. But, I am glad that her and Luke got back together on the final episode. I think he made her happy. Hope it works out for them. That thing with Chris, was a total mistake. She knew it from the beginning. Glad it's over. I think she always thought Chris would be the one, because they had Rory together, and sometimes those things just work out. Not this time. Oh well.

Update! Loralie and Luke got back together on the series finale last week! Yippee! Just hope it sticks this time. She is so impulsive. I hope he doesn't act all stupid like he did last time they were together when he shut her out of his daughter's life. I think that's why she split the first time. She just assumed that she would be the step-mom and he was having no part of it. Think he apologized for that...if you haven't seen the finale...do so, but don't expect a wedding.

Well, I'm going to make it unanimous: I think Luke and Lorelai are perfectly matched and if the writers know what's good for them, they will have them get back together and give us the happy ending we deserve after being such loyal fans of the show. So there! :o)

Luke for sure. They are perfect for each other and they complete each other. Even though I was raised that it is best for the kids that mom and dad be together and not seperated. Christ is just not for her and like someone else has said "Chris had his chance" So I would definitly be happy if Luke and Lorelai get back together before the end of the show/season (which ever happens)

I too think she and Luke belong together. Now that Luke worked things out with the whole daughter thing, they should get together and get married. I think Rory and Logan should get married soon, or at least engaged.
