Is there ever an easy way to end a relationship?

What are your best dumping lines? Do you finish things face to face or send letters, phone calls or even text?

No there isn't and I did it face to face, it was hard but after 21 Years of trying to make the Marriage work and he did not want to know I think I knew if I wanted a normal Life I will have to do it and guess what all of a sudden he reckoned he would change but no he had plenty of chances and I was not willing to risk it with the amount of Promises that where broken

oh gabbs i agree so much. The only way to do it is face to face and you have to know when the time is right to cut your losses and to go blessed be

I don't think there is an easy way to end a relationship...but there is an honest way I think even if it hurts truth is always better So when I have to end a realtionship I do it face to face ... and it is really hard but I think the person you are ending the realtionship with deserves it ... Don't you think?

I think I have only dumped one person before and I wrote them a letter and gave it to them. I have been dumped several times though and most of them would send someone to tell me at school or something. Some of the other ones would call me and tell me. None of them would ever tell me face to face. Alot of them I had to ask if it was over before they would tell me anything. I hated that the most because I was trying and wanted it to work out for us.

Hi, To me the worst way and the most cowardly way to dump someone is by texts, however, I must admit this is the one of the methods that I have used! It was only because this guy lived about 45 miles from where I lived and I found out that he was seeing other people whilst I was at work, I was furious and dumped by text!

i tend to agree with you about it being a cowardly way to do it by text, but in your case it sounds justified, cowardsly behaviour like cheeting, deserves a cowardly dumping blessed be

Just tell the truth, face to face. I'm sorry but this relationship is not working for me anymore. Cut all the drama, crying, hem hawing around and just do the darn thing. And move on.
