As a wife or girlfriend,what do you think is the most annoying that your husband/boyfriend does?I find that the most annoying is that when we watch tv together,my husband keeps flicking the channels repeatedly,and if I don't say anything at all,he will be content doing so for atleast 1 hour!One more thing that irritates and annoys me is the fact that the guy will not even care to lift the phone if it starts ringing when he is in the midst of watching TV(an interesting movie/programme,in his words).He is the one who has the phone nearer to him than me who might be in the kitchen,cooking or cleaning.He tells me to pick the phone instead!how irritating is that?I can hear the phone loud and clear and he says,"did the phone ring?I didn't know".these guys!what do you think folks,what is your experience?

I guess it is universal that all husbands are the same. My husband is so addicted to televsion that the moment he comes back home, the first thing he does is to switch on the tv. I really hate it. All his sunday is spent watching tv. Doesnt even bother to hear what our lil one is saying. And to make it worse, he keeps on flicking channels alll the time. He cannont concentrate on a single Programme. Has to watch 2-4 shows at a time. What a headache.

Ha! The most annoying thing that my boyfriend/husband does is when he keeps insulting me about my physical characteristics even when infront of his relatives! Whether it was something that I said or do, he never stops criticizing. I never had a "working", good, and meaningful communication with him for the past year I think because he just shun me away by insults and comments. Also, whenever I ask him to eat for lunch, dinner, etc. He always come after one hour. He's never on time for anything!

oh,insulting you in front of his relatives!that is not just annoying,it would make me very angry too!criticism is one thing I can't stand at all..not when husband criticizes..I hope he learns that this is the worst thing in any relationship!are you still with him now?

I love my husband dearly but coming up with one thing that is most annoying is very difficult because there are actually a lot of things. In general I would say that the most annoying is that he doesn't do anything unless I ask him to. He goes to work, comes home and goes into his shed. IF I want help with cleaning or dealing with our daughter, I have to ask. I mean anything that has to do with our home, family or life, aside from working and bringing home money, I have to ask for his help.
For more simple things, I would say setting the alarm for an hour before he has to get up and snoozing it every 7 minutes. That just drives me nuts. Also when he does cook, he never puts anything away. IF he takes out butter to cook with, it sits on the counter for hours if I don't put it away. Stuff like that.

dear dear,your response reminds me-my husband won't put his plate into the sink after finishing eating.Either it will lay on the table beside his computer(mostly,atleast)or on the kitchen counter where I generally use the place for cooking prep work!and I totally understand when you say you have to ask for help.Mine is the same.oh,that alarm thing makes me go mad too..these days my hubby just sets his mobile phone on vibrating mode when he sets the alarm and then puts it under his pillow so it doesn't disturb me!:)

Tells the same story over and over like he hasn't already told me. I think maybe he is getting old and can't remember telling me.

hey hii!the most most annoying thing that my bf does is to switch off the cell!when we fight when i want to tell him something about what he did wasn't right or if i want to discuss about the fight he just doesn't want top listen and switches off his cell!that is so irritating!once i was so pissed off because of his behaviour that i threw my cell in a fit of rage and my cell broke ionto 2 pieces!its always when we fight he tells me everything he wants to and i hear it patiently but when its my turn to speak up and defend for myself he just hangs up on me!how i wish some one could invent a cell without a switch off button!this is the only thing we fight on and that too major fights!hmmmm but i still love him alot!!

I love discussions like this one. As for me my fiancee likes to sleep all the time due to the fact that he works third shift even on his days off he wants to sleep all day and stay up all night long. I totally have the same problem with the phone except he will be in another room holding the phone when it rings and by the time he gets it to me it will have done stopped and I have to call them back.

Oh dear,that really is annoying!why can't he just answer the phone instead of holding the phone for you to come and answer!Gosh,I think men are all the same everywhere on earth!:)
