I'm talking about the kind of date where a guy picks up a girl, takes her to a nice resturant, then goes and sees a good movie. I haven't. The only dates I've really been on are going to a fast food place then going to play pool. Not really what one would calle romantic. So, have you ever been on a real date?

Yes I have. He didn't pick me up, because we were staying together at the time, but he did take me out for dinner a few nights. We had a great time together, and it was really romantic. We also toured all over our little part of Arizona, and it was the best two weeks of my life!!

No i have never been on a real date. Im 24...so it kinda suck but hey there still lies a future ahead. I would also consider a romantic date taking a walk in the park and having a picnic, or even having a picnic in your living room when its raining...as long as your with the one you love and having fun...

I have been on a few real dates aka dinner and a movie. I prefer a more relaxed date myself. I think this whole dinner and a movie being a real date is silly. Id rather a guy know me well enough that he takes me somewhere id enjoy like the zoo. Dinner and a movie is boring. Like my fiance he went cheap we put on rollerblades and had alot of fun then went to dairy queen for ice cream for a first date. And well I found that to be a great date because he knew what id like.

Yes I have been on a real date. I have been married for almost 24 years and at least once every 6 months my husband and I go on a real date. We go to a restaurant and enjoy a meal then afterwards we go to the movies. The last time we went we went to the movie first then the romantic dinner at the restaurant afterwards I actually enjoyed this more for when we came home we were really relaxed. My husband was only saying today that we must do it again next week so your post was well timed thankyou.

Oh yes I have many times and there are memories I will never forget !!! Just to share one. I came home from work one day and the landlord of my building was sitting outside as he often did reading the daily paper. He told me a fellow was here looking for me. Because this old fellow was always teasing me, he was old enough to be my grandpa and he was quite a joker, I said Oh sure and was he good looking ? He said well as a matter of fact he is and he sure has a nice car too. I just chuckled and went inside. To my surprise this fellow came back and he was a good friend and he did have a nice car and he loved my daughter and I. He often took us places. He took us out for supper then we went into the US about a two hour drive for us (at that time), he took us shopping and back home. He was so good to us and he often did these things for us. We never became lovers or got married he was too old for me but he did confess that he loved me in a very special way and I have always loved him the same way. We met again after about 30 years and I will probably never see him again but I will never forget this special person.
