i think sleeping is your body's time to heal and restore, and it can't function to the best of it's ability without it. what do you think?

Sleeping, as rest is more important for we need this to perform our daily duties. Then by that, we can do excercise routines, to flex our sleepy muscles and stretch our bone joints. Both are important, for us to make a healthy living and lifestyle.

Agree... You won't have the energy to do exercise if you do not have enough sleep. Both are important to me, without exercise also you will accumulate fat and all the sickness that goes with it. lol... strike a good balance of both.

thank you. i like that line, strike a good balance of both...which i think makes sense..healthy eating, healthy lifestyle is the key.

I think both are very important. Sleep we already can't avoid but exercise some rarely do. An equal dose of both would keep us healthy and strong.

i agree as well..sleep is inevitable though, and exercise is a choice. so make the best of both.

Human body needs enough of both. SUfficient sleep and good exercise are essential for a human body. Therefore, let us exercise regularly and get enough of sleep.

Exercise and sleep comes hand in hand. However, food needs to be taken into account as well. I mean what we eat depends entirely whether we need exercise or not. You cannot take sleep out of the equation but you can take exercise out providing we eat properly.

if you're eating healthily, leading a healthy lifestyle, then your everyday housework and officework might be your form of exercise, lol, as an excuse, lol! thank you.

Both have important part in our lives, but sleep is crucial for our existance. Try not to exercise for a month - you will still be ok, but try not to sleep for a month....

Both are important and both have their own importances. We cannot compare them with eachother.Sleeping is an important activity for our body and mind.So is exercising.Though as it is mentioned in some of the responses that we can do without exercising but not without sleep. But both have their periods , say without sleeping we will fall sick in 2-3 days but for execising the period is long and varies one's body. There are many people who donot sleep at all but still they are healthy and don't have any problems. Both sleeping and exercising helps in improving the performance of our body and mind.So in my views the question of on being more important then the other for our body does not arise.

thanks for participating. it's good to have known different views on this and i'm learning, you're learning, lol! but i've noticed some people who lack sleep, their body gives up after a few days..their mood changes as well, but probably it's a case to case basis.
