Do you get extra anything for rating your friends discussions on myLot?

I think we are not paid by rating the discussions. We are paid for responses and comments. I have not found any such information. Let us see other seniors view on your topic.

I'm not sure about that, I didn't see any thing in mylot saying that we "earn" for rating but it might help our own stars if mylot people consider those who rate more active.. I was rating everything i respond to since day one.

The earning algorithm is a secret thing in mylot so nothing can be predicted or guessed about. I only can guide you that do not use this DRS tool just to uplift the reputation of your friend unless worth otherwise will affect your own reputation adversly. This is what is said by mylot people time to time. The DRS has to availed but with a trusted manner for the sake of mylot community as such. All the best from oarnamav.

yes you do get paid for rating discusssions, but the reate at which you will be paid, is decided by mylot.

i don't think you get anything out of it unless you responded to the discussion. why... because: 1) your star rating, is not affected, unless your discussions and responses are the ones being rated by other users. 2) your number of posts will not increase unless you start or respond to discussions or added comments to others' discussions. 3) your earnings will not increase because earnings are based on participation in mylot thru starting and responding to discussions and commenting on others' discussions; uploading images and making referrals participate actively in mylot. i think what you'll get from rating your friends' discussions positively w/o responding to it is... appreciation from your friends, as their star rating increases. it's a good work though, because your friends gain from it. :) i, myself only rate discussions i've responded to. :)
