What is GOD ? An idol or your parents

No one of us have seen God. We are also not confirmed of his existence ,then why do we pray to God everyday? Actually I mean to ask to whom do we pray? Every one has different concept about God ,some even don't believe in God. So what is God? Is it some one sitting at heaven and managing the world or it's just fake. I feel it's just not any of above. They are our parents who are actually the God fo us ,but we don't feel it.They are the one who give us life and make us morally,physically,mentally,socially able to live in society.They make us humans.They fulfill our needs. What we are now is for them.They think us as our everything and we just think them as mere parents. So just once ask your heart that who is your God? One who is beside you always or the idol you are worshipping at the temple.
