Online secretary

I wrote the following as a post in another forum that I belong to but I was so pleased with it that I thought I'd post it here to :) The mylot community has grown so much and I know that a bunch more people are going to read it here than at the other forum I belong to (thank goodness for cut&paste.. LOL)...
That's the work I had in mind when I first started looking at working from home. A sort of online secretary or online assistant type job. I'm a secretary by trade.. at least I was before I became Mom.
Almost 2 years ago, a wonderful online friend bought me a 2yr domain name (www.imsilver.org) and I set it up as first my office which has since grown into a full site. Not only an office but so much more.
And along the way I've discovered GPT sites and through wonderful forums that I've joined through them I've gotten some good leads and am actually making a few cents here and there online. I've even gotten some good links to free jobsites but even those are just like one time deal projects.
So here finally is the point to this post.. does anyone out there actually work full time from home as a virtual assistant or online secretary type of job?

I dont work full time at it but I am trying to make a bunch of money on line also as I am currently un-employed. I have 2 blog sites that I am working with that I need to get the traffic up on, and then with the pay per post thing from different sites you can get paid. Depending on the sites and the $ offered for opertunities you can pretty much make a full time income at it.

Hi I'm a bit late in on this discussion, but I do work full time from home as a virtual assistant for 4+ years now. I wouldn't work any other way now, as I'm around my children and my income is fantastic. Hi imsilver, I think I've mentioned to you before that I run my business as a virtual secretary although I have an office from which I work. I don't do too bad to be honest either, although I do have alot of work from a friend of mine. Hotels and B&B is the next thing I'm hitting so these establishments can offer a secretarial service to their clients, hopefully this will get a few more jobs rolling in! Take care

i think most of the site want people from specific location. i've applied for similar online jobs and i was given forms to fill and after i filled the forms i was told, "we're sorry this is not available in your area". so now i'm often given such adverts but i don't fill or register again.
