300 was good on my opinion, although troy was a good movie the special effects, the war scence, the 300 spartans body language, was good in the 300 than the troy, troy was good in the story line than the 300!so on my option 300 rocks than troy!!

Both movies are ace, but I'll still go with 300 - more eye candy, better spirit, amazing graphics...
IMO, Troy was a bit overrater, but nevertheless, a great movie

Based on the storyline, I'd have to go for Troy but overall... 300 wins for me! It's so well made and the acting is not half bad plus it has greater fight scenes (in my opinion) than Troy! Heads flying everywhere... and there were great scenes too! It's such a treat to watch it, unlike troy.

300, Frank Miller's graphic novel turned cinematic dynamo, is a blood-red splash of awesome visuals, deliciously rendered quasi-history, and a compelling look at how features of character and plot not overly fleshed out in dialogue can be expressed through theatrical use of symbolism, i.e. Sparta's legion of abs and the Godking Xerxes' inhuman height. Through emphasis on setting and physical features, how does this film let you relate to its story and players, and furthermore, how do superficial details represent unexplored character traits in us and our contemporary surroundings?

I like 300 better than Troy. Although the fight scenes can be bloody on either one, and more unrealistic on 300 than in Troy...since it is kinda XBOXy more than anything...that is why it is so appealing to a lot of gamer viewers. But you can bet, that more and more films will follow suit. The movie did not drag, it was a low budgetted but great film overall. Not to mention that Gerry is a hunk ;-)
