I don't know, I think more important than the hair color is what each person is comfortable with. I am a brunette, although born blonde as years passed it got darker and darker (all 4 of my children were the same, about 3 it started getting darker). I've gone lighter, darker, and many shades between but have found what I feel the best with is a couple shades lighter than my normal color - this is the color my hair gets naturally in the summer when the sun bleaches it out. I've gotten so in winter I die my hair this color and in summer let it got naturally. LOL the color in my avatar picture - that was an end of summer early fall photo.

I don't know if blondes do have more fun. I think it depends on the person? I'm blonde and always have been, so I don't know what life would be like as a brunette? I never tried it? If you're happiest and most comfortable being a blonde, then stay blonde! I have brunette friends that sure seem to have alot of fun?

In our country the dominant color of the hair is black. Although most of the people don't really change the color of their hair but I found others to use blonde shades for their hair. It's because most the people who change color on their hair love to imitate those Hollywood blondes. They're influenced by those western looks.
I never tried to change my hair's color but I would love to try it just for curiosity's sake. I hope it will make me look better though(lol).

I have tried pretty much every color too. I am red right now but I am a natural blonde and usually i have my hair done so it's bright pale blonde. I guess that's my favorite. I like the red, but i'm getting kind of bored with it already. I feel liek I look younger with blonde hair!

I think that is a concept that has just gotten into peoples minds and stuck there. Anyone can have ouddles and ouddles of fun. It is something that comes from the inside. It is your personality that has fun erupting. I think it is just silly that saying even came about.

I've been considering going back to blonde to get a nice fresh new look for spring but I'm not sure yet. I started out blonde but it got naturally darker and redder as I got older. Other than color enhancing shampoos I haven't colored it in almost two years. One of the biggest problems I have is that my water where I am now has a very high iron (?) content, I think that's what it is that gives everything a rusty, red color. No matter what I do I can't get all the red out. Well I can get it blonde but after a few washings it starts to get red again. I might just try for a light brown with highlights. I'm definitely ready to step out and do something different I just haven't figure out how different I want to go. Sometimes I actually want to act my age which is still fairly young but I can't get too drastic with it without causing a lot of awkward moments from thinking I'm my s/o's daughter. He's almost 14 years older than me so if I go "too young" people get confused. The worst and funniest time was when we met up with a buddy of his. The buddy's 10-11 year old son was blushing and and staring at me the whole time until he whispered to my s/o "Your daughter is really cute"!!!!!Here's a picture of me from right after I had the baby. We came from the hospital to the grandparents so big brothers could meet the baby. I look like (you know what!) but I guess that's understandable for having a 40 hour old baby! What color do you think I should try?....well now that I look the picture is too dark to really see what color my hair is, oh well....and excuse the mess, she normally keeps things much neater but everyone was sick that week so not much had gotten done.

I have black hair, and have gone auburn, but never blond. I am very fair with light eyes and I would probably look like a corpse being a blond...lol I feel good with my dark hair, and brunettes have fun too !!

Wow, I have light brown hair naturally and have done dark brown, auburn, a million shades of red and everything in between. I did blonde one time and it was terrible! I do NOT look good as a blonde! I just prefer the reds and browns. Usually the lighter shades, but some of the darker ones too. I am glad you feel good as a blonde. There are so many beautiful blondes out there, I am just not one of them!
Thanks for the great post

I have been every shade from platinum blonde to light brown. I have had many disastrous results. I have turned out a bluish-grey and pale green. That is what happens when you color at home.
Right now, I am trying very hard to ignore my medium ash blonde roots. They are grown out about an inch and a half. I am trying not to color any more because my ends are so damaged they won't hold color anymore.

Hi carolee, I honestly do not know how a blond feels like. My looks are more of Asian brunette. Believe it or not, I never dyed nor colored my hair. The people in my country have either black or brown hair. I wouldn't dare to color my hair blond. I might be branded as an insane bunny, LOL!
