Or do you often skip it?
I have read often that breakfast is the one meal that you should never skip because it is far too long from your dinner the night before to lunch the next day. Your body needs that nutrition to take you through the morning.
Do you agree with this? And if you have breakfast in the morning, what do you normally eat?

I cannot start my day without breakfast. I must have something else I do not have the mind to start the day.
On weekday, I am always rushing to send the kids to school and getting to work. And breakfast is just sandwich that I grab from the company cafeteria.
On Weekend, time is with me and I will cooked my family favorite breakfast, Sunny side up egg, bacon, ham and bake bean and with a cup of freshly brew coffee. All will sit down and enjoy the breakfast.

I agree with that. I think breakfast is important for a number of reasons. The top one I would think of is that if you don't eat breakfast, you get more hungry and tend to snack on less healthy foods and gorge at lunch and dinner to make up for those calories.
That being said I don't always eat breakfast. I have a hard time finding breakfast foods I actually like. If I do have breakfast I like to stick to a bagel, or an english muffin. French toast is okay, but I never have time to make it!

I believe this but often skip breakfast! My kids will sometimes wake up not hungry and I will allow them to skip it with plans to feed them whenever they first say they are hungry which lots of times surprisenly they won't say they are hungry until Lunch time. This usually only happens tho if they ate two helpings at dinnertime.

Well, I guess as long as they have good energy levels in the morning it must work for them.

I definitely agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It is important to anyone who is on diet as it provides more energy compare to any other meals. But I do skip breakfast often as by the time I wake up in the morning, I'll be rusing to work. Also, I'll wake up late if I'm not working. So, when I wake up, it's already lunch time.
I normally go for bread and a cup of hot drink for breakfast.

I agree that eating breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I started to eat breakfast about 2 years ago. I noticed that I rarely got hungry comes lunch time and my energy has never been this good. I have a very busy lifestyle and always hopping around to meet customers and friends. Eating a heavy breakfast gave me the added boost to go on. I eat whatever I can think of or whatever is available inside my ref.

I do agree that breakfast is very important. The reason for the importance of the first meal of the day is simply because you need the energy to kick start the day. Starving your body and brain just doesn't cut.
Unfortunately, I seldom take my breakfast. That's why I am so dumb. *SOB*

Classic excuse for skipping breakfast is often about dieting. People feel that by ignoring the first meal of the day, they are reducing their caloric intake and promoting weight loss. A vicious cycle is started to eat a larger meal toward the end of the day and actually not be hungry for breakfast the next morning. Our body loves to be fueled often to perform well.
People who claim they are cutting calories by skipping breakfast, also are the very same people who are found snacking later in the day and fighting the low energy battle in the late afternoon and evening. Breakfast was designed to rev up your body for the rest of the day by boosting your energy, keeping your eating patterns even and stimulating your body's metabolism. No wonder those who skip breakfast are constantly in the "focus on weight loss" mode.
Along with this, comes the lament that by eating breakfast, hunger pains are felt throughout the day. This warrants a closer look at other eating habits. Are the types of carbohydrates chosen to start the day simple or complex carbohydrates. Foods high in sugar, even the natural fruit sugar will raise blood sugar levels quickly and trigger hunger and sleepiness a few hours later. Your body still may be hungry from not getting enough fuel 24 hours ago and just responding to the feast or famine cycle of the day before.
Focus on a blend of protein and carbohydrates at breakfast. Hearty carbohydrates will give that boost of energy to jumpstart your day. A mix of protein will be the staying power to keep your body going strong over the next three to four hours until lunch.
Eat breakfast everyday, enjoy the coolness of the day, and focus on fueling your body. You will have more energy for your fall fitness fun, and your body will respond by maintaining a healthier weight throughout the year.

I know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day,so I almost eat breakfast.I believe eating breakfast is good for my health, because it is a new day when you wake up,and you need energy to start the day,or you will feel hungry and can't do other thing well. And the breakfast should be nutritional,so you'd better have some milk,egg,bread,oats...
But for me,I can't afford that for my breakfast...lol...I normally just eat some steamed bun, steamed bread or porridge...lol...

It is a medical statement so I don't see what there is to disagree with. It is the most important meal of the day. You need your energy in the day when you are doing things rather than at night when it turns to fat because you sit in front of the tv or computer.
Having said all that I don't eat breakfast because I can't. I have never been able to eat breakfast. It started with a nervous stomach as a child and I couldn't keep anything down. Now it has developed into a habit.

I believe it is and I do not skip it. I couldnt if I wanted to, I get too hungry I get sick. So I gotta eat. Plus you are asleep all night and your body needs food to get through the day. It truly is important. I'd never skip it ever, unless I didnt wake up till afternoon. Then its called lunch. ONLY exception!

yes i believe it, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. in the morning we need some energy to start an activity, so we can get the energy from breakfast. without breakfast you not have power to do your activity. so always have a breakfast...

I do believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Unless your eating a cheeseburger for breakfast. I usually eat cereal with some wheat toast and maybe a small coffee and juice.
