I am so angry with it!!!

Well i havent experienced anything like this atleast not yet i even dont remember how many did i post in total i guess not giving too much attention to the numbers but rather concentrating on the topic to respond and perhaps your two posts never got lost and that the system coubld be still in upgrading process and correcting all the time must be some technical error and will be restored soon i guess,Best of luck for the restoration.

OK,my friend, don't be angry with it,i think you will see the 900 number soon.I have experience the same question as you,but soon i find the number of mine restore the right number.I think the system of mylot is good.Just to write.OH,i know you are really like writing,i admire your writing.

It has happend to me some too. i had more yesterday when I stopped then i do today. I assume it is something to do with mylot.

I've read in some discussions that mylot can delete some of the posts that they think are not useful like "Me too..", "Yes, I do.." and all those short comments that are not really helping. No offense, but if you ever remember posting something like that, maybe that was it. =) Cheer up! Other members even get more posts deleted.

Yes, sometimes you can answer a post and it gets removed for whatever reason. It could be the person that posted the original post got banned or deleted so the whole topic is gone to include your response. Or if there was something in the topic that was in violation of the rules that would also make the post get removed, and any responses also removed and thus your rating will go slightly down. Calm down vicky, i am sure mylot have some mistake on it. After all, they can be confused with all those huge members they hide. Well, at least youd did not lost 10 numbers..LOL

this is not unusual at this time of the month. Its just mylot doing the spring cleaning. If you have inadvertantly responded to a discussion that later gets deleted you will also lose your credit point. I think it happens to us all blessed be

First, have you read the writer's guidelines (do's and don'ts) as well as the discussion on why posts are deleted? Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/topguidelines.aspx This is not up to date, but you can go to this discussion and see some of the reasons discussions are deleted: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/457762.aspx Unfortunately, these guidelines are vague to some members so let me give you some information that may help you. If you create or respond to discussions that are in violation of rules on mylot, the posts will be deleted. If the responses you give to others are in violation of rules, they will also be deleted, and in some cases violations can and do get your account banned. Here are some violations that will get your discussions and responses deleted: If you create a 'joke' discussion or respond to one, it is considered a violation because jokes are copy and pasted and not written in your own words. SO, mylot considers this a form of plagiarism and will delete them. If you copy and paste, plagiarize, copyright infringe, by taking text from other websites without giving the link to where you took the words from and starting your own discussion based on the text you quoted, the discussion and or response can be deleted. If you announce a milestone, it will be deleted. Milestones include: I've reached 100, 500, 1000 posts, It's my anniversary, It's my birthday, I've made it to a new mylot rating, etc. Mylot feels those discussions only draw in members to reply with simple responses and not a quality response more often then not, so they would rather us use private messages for that. If you post a poll or survey type of discussion or respond to one, they will be deleted. If you create or respond to a discussion in a language other than english it will be deleted. I can go on and on. Basically, create a discussion or response with your own words, and make sure it is a quality post. Do not respond to discussions that you KNOW are in violation of any of the rules, and you will ensure that your points won't go down on a large scale. Hope this helps.

A lot of the time jokes are removed when people report them. That could be a reason. You never know sometimes. Not the best answer, but that's the only possibility I know since I seriously doubt you posted anything obscene.

Vicky I know how frustrated you must be feeling - I have just had 2 discussions totally wiped - I think because of short responses or because I have been commenting on every response I got! If you had responded to discussions that got wiped hon then your response will also be wiped thus your numbers come back down! I always try to stay positive but am quite upset at the moment - this seems to be happening an awful lot just now!

Sorry to hear that your number of posts decreases even though you've posted several more after you reached the 900 posts.Maybe there might be something wrong with your internet connections my friend.Just keep on posting and I'm sure myLot will accredit those lost number of posts you've mention.God Bless!

Sorry my friend I don't the system too well either. I am in Mylot for the interesting discussion that I get to start and respond. I will let you as soon as i find out.

I am also experiencing the same problem, my post number keep dropping as well as my earnings keep on dropping. I guess maybe mylot has delete some of the discussions that don't follow mylot rule. So the discussions end up being deleted by mylot and so as some of my posts.

I have the same experience with you.I think mylot delete some my response.Maybe those response is simple or no any mean.

I don't think I would get too angry about it because as has been mentioned, they could have been lost do to either deleted discussions by others, or by one of your posts being deleted. These things happen, especially if myLot feels that they are violating the rules for whatever reason. In addition, with the new upgrades, there are bound to be glitches, so this could affect things, so do not worry too much about small amounts. Just keep your eye on things, and if you were still concerned, I would contact myLot and ask them. They could tell you details of why your numbers have gone down.

Mylot deleted 2 of your responses. You might have responded to a thread that violated mylot rules. For some reason, mylot deleted topics or responses pertaining to online money making, about celebration of any kind and about jokes. Try to be more selective in the topics you're responding. Read the guidelines set by mylot so you will have a more clear understanding on what to do here. Good luck. :)

Vicky, I am still learning the whole system-but I have trouble keeping up with the count as well...I think I will have a certain number but am always off from my count...so I just accept whatever they put there.....I am sorry that this seems to have upset you though. Hope you are able to fingure it out.....

yes buddy this things also happens to me for i use to write the something in the discussion and post it but after some time not only the number decreases but also the post has gone from where i have posted it till now i haven't got the faintest idea of whats going on over here once you came to know about it please do tell me
