any kind of recognition feels good. even if its just someone saying "i really appreciate the work you do" but most of the times people at my company dont even do that. i try to thank everyone. raises and promotions are always welcomed. we have an employee of the month program but its not always fairly chosen.

Money is important for me but at the same time i would like the position in the company. Money will keep my faily happy and i will be able to fulfill their desire. And position will keep my self happy.

The greatest reward would be a recognition of an employee's excellent performance of his duties in the form of promotion, a fair evaluation of his/her strengths, a constructive suggestion to overcome weaknesses and of course salary raise that comes with the promotion.

I believe a sense of accomplishment. I want to teach in a public school system and hope to be a positive influence on those children.

I'm doing what I love to do. I'm a freelance writer and I do very well at my job. I enjoy writing and I get to do it in the comfort of my home. My rewards speak for themselves.

Rewards? Self-fulfillment, an interesting and challenging job, empowerment, meeting different kinds of people, being appreciated, having to contribute to achieving the goals of the organization. . .the list could go on and on. You're right. .we need to set realistic goals for our careers in order to succeed. When we climb the corporate ladder, expect difficulties and challenges. . but they are there to make better persons out of us.

I am a results orientated type of person and thus whatever I do I will wish to try my best till last in which I might not get the perfect results but am sure I will feel good and satisfy as I know I already try my best to complete the tasks and I think that's the best reward to me beside the money I earns.

The most important reward that I expect in my career is knowing that I put a smile on my students faces and knowing that I have been able to help them to become successful and that they learned a lot from me. Knowing that they are willing and are ambitious to find a job is a great feeling and seeing them actually get a job is a better feeling. Seeing my students succeed is the best reward that I want or expect in my job. A raise would be nice too. :-)

Depends on what type of job do u have..
The important rewards that i expect from my career.. other than the increase in paycheck... :)
is the satisfaction that i'm looking for. Life is not all about money... in my work the two most important thing is money and satisfaction. They should work hand in hand. The satisfaction about this job... the feeling is so overwhelming and this is what keep me going..

A person may be good at the work he is doing but he may not necessarily be good in other types of responsibilities. Or, even if he is, he might not want to take them up. So, I would want a reward where a choice is given in a promotion or just plain increase in pay.

Many things I expect to get as rewards for my career. As a teacher, students' respect and high assessment is one of the motivations that enable me to go forward. As a professional woman, I neet to promote my professional skills and being acknowledged for my professional development is another candy for me. Last but not the least, financial reward is also important.

money, money and more money...its the only thing why we are toiling day in and day out and boiling in our sweat. promotions, good increments, fringe benefits, freebies....the loads to make me slog more and more...the eternal carrot dangling in front of my big nose!

erm.. why do i expect as a reward from my careerr? well.. of course everyone is expecting a pay rise.. don't you think so? but i think differently.. i think most important is the experience.. only with experience.. one can be more creative.. and can even think of doing his own business.. my career is to make my own business.. and make it a succesfull one.. i never thought of working for others for life.. to me.. that's more like a slave.. just that you don't get punishment for doing wrong... you're right huafeihua.. we do have to be ambitious.. dare to dream.. dare to work towards your dream.. and one day.. you will be successful too =)
