me at gt4 challenge - so proud of myself.
Well, this might sound foolish to most people, but I'll still relate my story of my biggest accomplishment yet. Ok, I think this was in 2005, we had a playstation Gran Turismo 4 challenge come to our town, Bahrain, now I own a playstation 2 and am crazy about games, but I'd never played this game, gt 4. The winner of the challenge would win a 1000$ and get a chance to go to the semi-final in dubai, too. So, I entered the challenge it was at the mall, three days before it, I bought that game and practised that particular stage that was for the challenge, and on challenge day I was up against guys, that had been playing this game for a long time, but in any case, I was the only girl there, and finished in 8th, I didn't win anything, but did get my picture in the paper and did earn the respect of all the gamer guys there as I was the only girl there, and I did so well. I felt really proud of myself, not just for being the only girl, but also because I wasn't even a veteran at this game but still finished in the top ten. Anyway, that paper clipping went into my achievement file, which by the way, has given me a great idea of a new discussion, thanks to you. Ok, here's the picture from the paper, I thought I'd upload it.

no achievement is the greatest achievement for me. I thank God for giving me life to this world. I know what is love; what is sorrow; what is happiness; what is tear. I know the meaning of life. I know different people have different interpretation of life. But I will interpret it in my way.Good topic. thanks.

I will never forget the most satisfactory accomplishment I have ever had in this life. This involves my youngest child. He was ten years old going eleven then. He was very ill. The doctors told me that nothing much can be done anymore to lenghten his life. They advised me to stop all medications now and just make efforts to make his last days as happy as can be. Only the liquid multivitamins was retained from out of so many medicines he used to be taking each day. I left my job some years ago in order to take care of him full time. At this time, the more crucial days have come. Instead of crying in the corner and make our lives miserable, I explained everything to my son. I said that I want to have my last days with him memorable and happy ones. We agreed not to be crying, but rather to be happy and roam around to all places where he will find joy and contentment. To my surprise, the good Lord, gifted us a miracle for what we were doing and how we dealt with our ordeal. His critical condition was gone just like that after a week of having fun. The doctors were baffled. They advised me to keep on with whatever it is that I am doing. Days after that, a friend approached me and introduced a herbal food supplement. This even helped so much more with his condition. My son lives to this day. He is 19 years old now. I can never be any happier for him. We are hoping that the day will come when he shall have fully recovered from his leukemia, it is an inborn condition which he's got.

wow, if you could see me, I would be giving you a standing ovation, medicine is not everything. it's the quality of life that matters, and I for one, really admire you and your son, you're both survivors.

My greatest accomplishment so far is seeing my son excited to learn new things everyday, he is only two years old but he already knows how to put on his own shorts, he's trying to learn how to button his shirt but his hands are still too little and most of all he knows when one of his toys is not in the right place. I'm very proud of how smart my son has become, I chose to stay-at-home because I want to be the one who teach him everything he needs to know while he grows up and it really makes me happy that all my sacrifices and hard work are working.

Having a natural childbirth is one of my greatest achievments so far. I'm so proud of myself for going through that and not listening to everyone who told me I wouldn't be able to do it. I'm also very proud of myself for being a good mother so far. I think I have done a very good job with my daughter so far and I know this is just the beginning.

And am finishing up two small books I've written, one on just what does the Book of Revelation (of the bible say) and one a summary of Just what does the bible say? And I have lots more stuff I am either writing or want to write.. Those things make me happy. Now looking for publication through agents and lulu.com..

The one big accomplishment I'm very proud of, is the fact that I'm a damn good parent to my children, despite my fathers disappearing act when I was only 9 years old. I always told myself I'm going to be better then him, and guess what??? ..... I am:-) (Good Question)
